Time is precious and there's no time to waste (well, except for here on RDP or if you use social media). In the interest of saving you time let me suggest this:

Avoid this movie: The Power of the Dog

It's an "acclaimed" film shot in New Zealand where they hoped it would look like Montana (hey, Yellowstone uses Utah so why not?). I just saw The Power of the Dog on a 10 best movies of 2021 list so you may be enticed to watching it. My suggestion is don't.

Unless you're a Brokeback Mountain kinda "man" this film won't be your cup of tea. There's some creep factor running through this film that is too long and too slow.

If you add this movie to "Don't Look Up" - you'll save yourself at least 5 hours which you can use to drink beer, eat good food and surf RDP or just get some sleep. All of those will serve you better than watching these flicks.

Ya both movies were a waste of time. We watched Don’t Look Up last night and I was really hoping The Power of the Dog was going to be food but it was weird and dragged on.

And here I thought you were going to inform the inmates that Dave moved all the China Virus/ Vaccine threads to their own section, so don't bother looking in the lounge.

I know many of you will enjoy it's close presence to and affiliation with the Dungeon, the Plankton Fan Club and all the joy they convey.
I think I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the show.

It was definitely a weird movie. I didn’t recognize Kirsten Dunst until saw the credits.

“Don’t look up” started as good slapstick one liners and sort of deteriorated into the climate change anthem that it actually is.
Still I found a lot of it bizarrely funny!

The one liners were funny as hell.

“Tune in next time when we have falsely accused murderer Michelle Wi on to talk about her controversial 3rd place finish on dancing with the stars…”

Or “we interrupt this episode of Jackpot Beyoncé with an emergency announcement”

It was supposed to be a statement about their (liberals) outrage over the indifference to their climate agenda (the comet is the metaphor), but to me it backfired into a statement about the ridiculousness of todays click baiting.
