Protests at Church, would you go?

Just got an email that the below "free Palestine" protestors are planning on targeting out church tomorrow. My question for you all, would you still go?

My default is to normally avoid everything about potentially contentious situations like this, however I don't like the feeling of allowing this person to intimidate us from worshiping freely.

That goes without saying, and honestly one of the main reasons that's giving me pause about going. Even justified shoots ruin people's lives.

Some lines you do not cross, they hide behind protest but at some point it becomes harassment.

Just so everyone understands, churches are private property. Depending on how they are incorporated they are either owned by an assembly or they are owned by the recognized members.
If you are a member of a church you can exclude people from entering or evening being on your property just the same as your own home.

I have no desire to get that close and instigate an altercation. This guy's goal is to get people to react to him so he can film it.

What I meant was if they were to approach you, if they kept their distance I would pay them no mind.

Hopefully, the staff will have this handled and may even have law enforcement on sight.

Let them know they’re welcome to come in and listen and check it out. But to throw out an ultimatum like that “if you don’t let me speak that means that we’re not welcome” is stupid. Intimidating your way to speak ain’t right and isn’t really going to get you an audience.
Have they only done this once before and moved on to another church (your church)? From the pic it seems pretty mellow. They don’t strike me as a jihad group. But that doesn’t mean the won’t attract any.

He had a run in with a volunteer at this particular church the week prior, which he used to get sympathy/publicity for the larger group last week.

The best thing is to not give him what he wants and “love the hell out of him”. As difficult as that might be, it will represent the church well and help (hopefully) not escalate the situation. Like I said, hopefully there will be a security/police presence and let them do their job.

I would go to church still. I wouldn't engage with the crowd. If they want to engage with me id smile and keep on walking. I support the Israeli people, not hamas. I do not support the killing of people who chose to stay home in gaza and have no affiliation with either side. Its a crappy situation im not there to know what is truly happening. All i can pray for is peace grace and mercy. God will sort out the rest.

OP you are the father of a young family I would think long and hard at your decision. If you choose to go I would never attend a situation unarmed that has known terrorist sympathizers in the area to cause trouble.
