She was ready to deploy the national guard to keep citizens in their homes?? What happened LOL

RIGHT!! and I belive, actually i know, she did but they were ordered to stay out of site till needed for the "shelter at home".. but this shit she says "NOPE" the the National Guard doesnt have "THE TRAINING" for riots and terrorism.. WTF?? The "Chief of Staff" for our local NG is a client and isnt real happy about it! She wasted his menstrual time for the shelter at home but cant "defend" criminal acts! Her answer was that the would put more "Oregon State Cops" on patrol tonight! SMH

Just a bunch of people looking for attention and feeling important because they are in a crowd. Single anyone of them out and they are cowards. These are the same people that are scared to death of covid and not working or going to school yet they will assemble in a large crowd to protest. Sheep!

Looked like a 10 round drum mag on that AR. Sad that the police have there hands tied and normal people have to resort to this.

Ugh, we saw that coming. That sucks Mike.

As much as I would want to do that in the situation, its just not smart here in CA.
Agreed. Typical lib bullshit. "We can stand for what we want, but if you do its racist". Hopefully they dont try and get him on some terrorist threat bullshit.

The guy with the AR resides in Rancho Cucamonga, was arrested with 245PC, ADW, and booked at West Valley Detention Center.

Not going to stick. He didn't 245 anybody. That's a 417 (brandishing) at best. If the DA actually files a 245 on that, there will be no conviction and the guy will walk. That might actually be the strategy.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I agree it is at best a stretched 417PC, but just reporting what the papers are claiming.

That was my thought too, or might they will drop it entirely? They probably took statements from the protesters that said he pointed it at them... maybe he did, who knows.

Based only on the video, he brought this on himself however.

I will be honest as I don't agree that was the right thing to do I also understand his frustration and wanting to protect his community. I don't know what I would have done in that situation so I can't pass judgment.

That being said if this man needs bail money I would gladly donate to a go fund me page for him.

would have he been ok if he had it in a sling and “at rest” while not saying a word?

By watching the video, it was premeditated to brandish the weapon and was the MO all along... Its sucks though, he should have looted stores instead.

Now his rights to own a gun are gone........ or for a period of time.

nope, still can't carry openly in public with an illegal Ar. But it might have not got him arrested on a 245

Well.....If he was on private property with the permission of the property owner, then he would have been well within his rights to have the gun on his person, visible, and at rest. He still would not be allowed to point it at anybody unless he or his property was in immediate danger and the gun must still be legal to CA requirements.

Ya it sucks and if they do charge him as a felon then he will never be allowed to own a gun in CA ever again (I don't think that will happen tho).

At the end of the day he made his choice and now has to accept the consequences. Definitely a double standard that people can loots stores with no repercussions and this guy gets charge with a 245PC. Cant say I agree but this is our current system we have. I am just glad I live in AZ instead of CA at the current moment.

Personally, if I owned an of those disgusting pieces of machinery, the last thing I would pull is an AR. The poor things already get a bad rap, a bolt action howa hcr is just as scary to those who have no idea what they're looking at.

I wonder what the legality is behind having neighborhood gun cleaning parties in your front yard😇

It would have been no problem if he was just carrying it on the sling on his own property though, right?

Question: Being told by LE that your front yard is still not private property....True? being a CCW holder I cannot run out of the house shooting when someone is defacing the front of my property. Unless they enter the garage/house or backyard.... What say you?

if its not private property, that would make it public property?

I cant imagine thats correct, i'm far from a legal scholar, but I'd assume my front yard consist of my private property, right up until it becomes public (city or county)

You can’t not kill to protect property period. If you are in fear and of your life in your front yard you are in the clear. My issue if officer said it like this. As long as you can demonstrate that you were indeed in fear of your life and that is reasonable. You are in the clear with CCW. I imagine same would apply while on private property without Ccw and in possession of legal weapon.
