The state has already made it super difficult to get your own cylinder filled w/o getting an exchange.

The exchange cylinder is generally only 3 gallons so your getting ripped off.

They are trying to create a 100% electrically managed country. Control the power...control the people.
We have a delivery service that fills our tanks, even the rv tanks, etc.

Done!

At my work we have two sit down forklifts and a stand up picker lift. One forklift is propane and the other forklift & picker are battery. The stand up picker needs a new battery at $3800, and will need a new charger for the new battery, quote was $750. So I’ve decided since the guys barely used it to not fix and will eventually get rid of it. The other battery lift is ok, but the guys don’t use it as much as they use the propane lift more. The electric lift can’t go in a trailer due to its weight, and ground clearance. It’s had more issues with switches and my service contract costs more than my propane lift, which can get down a dock ramp & into a 53ft trailer. I suspect when the Electric lift needs a battery or any costly repairs, it too will get parked and we will just keep the single propane forklift.

This would be such a pain in the ass. The 5-6k electric forklifts we use at times take forever to charge on 120v, like not even full over night. Usually need a 220v charger to make a dent in them and swapping a battery on a jobsite isn't practical. Not everywhere is going to have 220 or 480 to charge these things, so we're left running a gas generator overnight?

It is even better than that... California is a net importer of energy over night, so charging is going to be more expensive during those hours. You really need to charge those batteries between the hours of about 1000 and 1600, when CISO is curtailing solar because it has to much energy in its hands.
