So the wife got me a set of Dana Headers as a gift.
I was running a 26 on my Ultra 26 Shadow Deck with a 496HO (66 at 5000 with a 1.5 gears).
Anyone know of a shop in Havasu that helps with prop testing? Once installed (mid March) weekend time will be limited for me due to family obligations already planned until DS and I want to know who I could work with to test and then purchase a prop from. Thinking I am going to need a 27 or 28. Anyone has any thoughts?

I've got a 28 you could borrow

I think I know that prop. Thanks, I will let you know as I get closer to testing.
Heading out on the 15th to bring the boat home and start the annual upgrade and service.

I have a 28 and a 30 you can try. Once you figure it out, buy one and then go to Gibbs for it to be labbed, he will work with you to tweek it a few times till your happy. For me one prop isn't enough, cool air, hot days, full load of people or just my wife and I, I'm always flipping back And forth between a 28 and a 30

Thanks. My gut tells me I am going to end up purchasing more than 1.

I'm in the same prop range as you. I have a Stock 28, a Worked and Polished 28 (300 rpms off), and a Factory Labbed 27. After testing and testing, my Stock 28 still seems to outshine them all. It takes a lil while to crawl out of the hole, but I love the top end.
