It seems like these have been popping up in my feed since he died. Not political stuff just pics or videos of him being a gear head.

I’ve seen black and white pics of him on an early Honda tail 110? riding friends.

Ive seen video of him working on an engine in a garage.

And more.

Here’s something I found interesting…

Hmmm, who’d-a known?

I bet it was real.

He made a big impact with Habitat for Humanity. He did a lot to help families in need get a house. And a lot of those houses he worked on building.

An honest guy that like honest Harry Truman, didn't jive well with a corrupt Democrat party and didn't last.

Dealing with slimeballs like Joe Biden, Joe Kennedy Sr, Congressman LBJ and the like, a party of shit birds they held their nose and dealt with.

Ya can't get a legit, honest man to cheat.

Being he was a nuclear submariner, I'm pretty sure he was mechanically competent and had the toys in his youth.
Successful farmer and being mechanically competent has to be essential I'd wager.

Habitat for Humanity he not only slugged nails but often ran the crews.

Wow, who knew? He used to go to Sebring for the 12 hour and record audio of the cars and sold the records. I wonder if he partied in the bog?

Billy Beer, the fillin’ station, Miss Lillian,, it was an interesting time, but America felt bad about itself.

His VP Mondale ran in the next election and got his balls cut off when he ran on a “oh yes, we’ll raise taxes” platform.
Democrats still do that but now they gaslight it with deflection and finger pointing and flat out lying.

I remember this seemed to seal the deal for Reagan.

My first bike was the same Honda C110 50cc. Dad bobbed the rear fender, put an off road fender on the front and a header exhaust. Such a simpler time. Loved that push rod bike.

Mondale wanted the stage lights turned brighter thinking it would make Reagan look old and bad.
Show Biz Reagan knew better and immediately agreed to it.
The Gipper looked even better and Mondale looked like a Bassett Hound.

Carter funeral arrangements back up your post. Jimmy made the arrangements personally. No matter what your politics or opinion of President Carter the man had NOTHING IN COMMON with Biden.

I remember his presidency well. During that time, we waited in line for gas, bought my first house and interest was nearly 9%. I was in construction and work was spotty, and we had hostages in Iran and the economy was absolute shit. He was was a horribly ineffective president, but.. he was a good and kind man who did more good after he left office and made the best of those years. Biden is far worse because he's vindictive and a bullshit artist, phony. Sooner he cashes in his chips the better.

Ignoring his presidency (I was a wee tot)....Everything of seen of the guy while he wasn't president has been pretty solid.

That said, he's dead, he's gone, and I'd venture to guess that he no longer cares. This federal shutdown on the 9th is some virtue signalling bullshit. I've got orders that need to go out and orders that I've shipped out that won't be delivered now till the next day. Biden can't see past the tip of his fucking nose. Just because the government can't accomplish shit in a single day doesn't mean the rest of us don't need to.

Make it on a Sunday when nobody has shit to do anyway.

Fuck no, he wasn't.

A popular narrative surrounding the legacy of Jimmy Carter is that as president he was a victim of unlucky timing that impeded him politically but that he excelled during his long post-presidential career. The reality is that he was a terrible president but an even worse former president.

Carter became an even worse ex-president than he was a president. He never could resist the chance to badmouth his Republican successors, and he constantly sided with the “Palestinian” cause and did everything he could to thwart Israel’s right to exist peacefully. His treatment of Israel alone undoes any supposedly wonderful Sunday School lesson and every Habitat for Humanity house he ever had a hand in building.

Absolute cunt.
