I'll take my CP over anything for style and stability and safety.
Not to hi-jack, but waaaaaay back in 82-83 Tommy Papp and I built an 18' Winger that was an Earl Smith boat out of Texas. I believe most if not all Wingers came from this early design. It was a quick little SOB and we ran at several of the campsites near the I10 out of Blythe. Some of you old timers from Water Wheel and McIntyre might remember it. Lil Tuffy, Blue with about 5 miles of pinstripes. Damn I wish I would have kept that boat but our first house won out over that money pit.
Thanks for letting me rehash "The Good Old Days"

I'll say up front, I've never ridden in a Daytona. Some people who have say the CP is more stable in lake chop generated by boat wakes. I have heard of Daytona's hooking a sponson and flipping. Never heard of a CP, or gull wing in general, doing that.Honest question. Do think it’s safer than say a 21 Daytona ?
Thats bad ass sir. I sold the Baker a while back. But that looks amazing!id trade plus cash on your end on this
Dan Munson used to run that area around those years, Winged blown flatbottom he would barefoot behind it.There used to be poster of him , 1 footin, barefooting onNot to hi-jack, but waaaaaay back in 82-83 Tommy Papp and I built an 18' Winger that was an Earl Smith boat out of Texas.
