I’m over this coolant leak and new truck pricing markups and wait times are a joke.
Has anybody used them for head gasket repairs? They are in Montclair now and when I talked to the guy there I wasn’t really feeling it’s something they like to do. IDK.
They told me 5 to 7K and a week, ABCO said same time frame 7.5K. Anybody have any positive or negative experiences with either? No matter what it needs to be fixed, even if I’m going to get rid of it..The plan is to keep till this crazy shit is back to normal and then buy a new one.

Oh yeah and 90 day warranty. That’s a lot of coin if it starts leaking again shortly after the warranty.

There's a few other diesel shops to look into, but Never used ABCO, but bought Lucas oil from them. I have heard they are pretty good.
Diesel Tech, in Hemet. They worked on a 6.0 ford for one of the guys at work, He had only good to say about them. There is another diesel shop in Chino, supposed to be really good.

I would recommend giving The Truck Shop in Temecula a call. They just did new heads and while they were in there studs and new main bearings on my 6.0. May have been because of the new heads but I got a full year unlimited mile warranty. They work on all brands and don’t seem to be running out of work or customers any time soon.

Yupboy motorsports in Temecula was a factory ford diesel tech before venturing out in his own. They do great work.

PPE as in Pacific Performance Engineering? I haven't been into the diesel scene for about 10 years... When PPE was in Placentia they came off as a tuner and performance shop. Never really saw them as a repair shop. They did build engines but those customers seemed like high rollers and it was just throw more money at it. Diesel Tech in San Jacinto is big into Powerstrokes but I'm sure Loren works on all brands. Domestic Diesel in Chino can handle that work. John and Rupert are good people.

I never got the warm and fuzzies from Domestic Diesel in Chino. They did a repair and when they hooked everything back up they wired up my lift pump so it was running all the time one and the truck wouldn’t shut off…..but it wasn’t their fault and cost me a new pump and installation fees. No more. I’m very happy with All-Time in Glendora.
