Gotta start shoveling after coffee this morning. Should be some great mid-week skiing or snowmobiling up at Grand Lake. Maybe both.

That's a beautiful scene. Viewing the untouched world the morning after a big snow is a great time to reflect on the power and majesty of our planet. Living out by oneself, away from the noise and crowds of the cities, make the experience even more personal and fulfilling.

The cold front has passed, the winds have receded, the clouds are gone, and the sun is shining brightly. The warmth of the sun on one's face, the expanse of open country, and the stillness of the morning all combine to imprint the experience as a special memory.

Looks like you're up near Broomfield...Westminster(?) Gotta love Longs Peak!
NW corner of Broomfield, about a sand wedge away from Boulder County. On the morning news when they show a mountain shot, that's usually the view.

These El Niño years always bring lots of snow to southern New Mexico. Looks like it's gonna be a good one.
Gonna be a good spring...
Sandia's got some snow as well.
I'm sure you know the Abruzzo's sold the Ski area, s'posed to open this season.
Can't believe you crazy phuckers used to hang glide off the peak...
