Which method are you guys going with?
We had been trying to reward method every time he does go on the potty. It was sporadic to say the best. He would still go in his diaper. So we are going with the no diaper. Undies only. 3 day push get it done method.

That worked really well for a coworker recently. Cold turkey!

That's what we did with my son last year. By Monday, he was good to go.

Just finished my soon to be 3 year old. Having COVID helped since we were stuck at home 😂.

No diapers/pull ups and undies only is the best method IMO.

My wife has our 2 year old granddaughter fully potty trained. No diapers ever. Just took her to bathroom every 2 hours and bought a cool ladder thing

My twins were house broken by 2. We made it a competition between the 2. Happen within a couple days. Wife used to roll around with little trainer toilets in her car.
Big mistake making it competitive though. 9 years later everything they do is a competition..😤

No diapers and toss a handful of cheerios in the toilet when he goes pee. Tell him they’re targets he’s gotta hit. Worked for my son at 2.
This is the tried and true method right here

Man, I don't know if I could handle 7 years of diapers. 3 years was enough for me.
Shortly after my wife got pregnant with our second daughter my oldest decided she was done with diapers (she just woke up one day and was done with them).

Honestly, if my daughter would have been a couple months quicker on potty training I don't know if we would have had a second kid, LOL.

Potty training your kids is an easy task, wait till there potty training You!!!

I once told my mother in-law who had dementia, anybody can piss on the floor why don't you be a hero and shit on the ceiling. If you ever use this line make sure you have a hazmat suit on hand (as in our case) your probably going to need it...

Good luck. It’ll happen eventually. Just make sure to enjoy every moment and take it all in at these young ages, including this. They grow up fast.

I will submit, I never enjoyed the moments cleaning up poop and pee. :)

Most other moments were enjoyable.

@Bpracing1127 - stay the course, he will have peeing figured out by tomorrow. The pooping takes a little longer. Daughter took like 6 months to get pooping down, no accidents but she didn’t like going on the toilet so she would hold it, get a stomach ache, then not want to the next time and hold it again. It was just breaking that cycle with her.

Son took like a week to get used to pooping in the toilet.

Daughter would only poop in one place in the house when in diapers though. Son would take a dump anywhere anytime in diapers.

Took the diaper off while the wife was at work. Told him you will never wear this again or I'm gonna kick your ass! That was the last diaper he ever wore. Mom couldn't pull it off so dad had to get involved! ;)
