I'm not sure what i'm going to do. I wanted to get the build done last year and I did. I'd like to paint and redo the interior, but I may leave it like this for a year or three.

The right size masters and gave up on the drum brakes. The day I bolted the disc set up on, it was night and day. Everything was perfect.

I can't take any credit, bought the car as is. Knock on wood she has never left me stranded and we drive the snot out of them.

Car has a 2.2 chevy ecotec with a 002 bus box and Weddle internals. ProAm hubs, Howe power steering, Fox bypass shocks with 20" travel front and rear.

Picked this up last year and had a ball with it. 1641cc with a built trans. Broken two axles so far doing wheelies so I'll be upgrading those and probably pushing the failure mode farther up-stream. Looking forward to another fun summer on the dunes.

I have to ask- whats the deal with buggy whips mounted up front, is that a Michigan thing? I have seen several pictures of people in the dunes of Michigan and they all mount buggy whips on the front of the car somewhere. Everyone out here has them mounted to the top of the car or rear. Just curious...

Yes. The off-road parks require them up front also. I used to think it was stupid until I was out there on my dirtbike years ago. Was screaming up a hill and caught a glimpse of a flag cresting from the other side, gave me enough time to change course and avoid becoming a hood ornament on a Jeep.:eek Dirt bikes and quads can mount them in the rear, but SxS, buggys, trucks, and other vehicles must have them on the front.
