Pool Automation - Worth the cost? Which equipment & total cost?

I have the Zodiac IAqualink system, does much more that turn the spa on and off from the road.

I have an Aqualink RS6 indoor control panel linked into my heater, pump, waterfalls, etc. I'd like to add the iAqualink so I have control from my phone - can I keep the existing control panel so guests in my house can still control?
