Anyone done this out in RDP land?

The good, bad and a vendor you'd recommend?

And please, no liberal contractors.
Just had a company come out to our Mohave Valley house that is a flat roof. Mohave Roofing is who came out. They were very responsive, and I had a quote that same day. Not sure about the product and the longevity or downsides to it so I will be following this to see if anyone has any experience with this on their homes.

I had Whitey in Parker do one for me. It’s been money zero issues or leaks. Flat roofs suck ass, but the membrane roof is supposed to be pretty much a permanent solution. It has an insulation factor as well.

As in spray foam? I had my mobile done a few years ago. Guy out of Prescott came to Parker and did a few. Used to be $4 a sq ft. Last time I referred him it was around $11.

I misunderstood. I didn’t do foam. I did something similar to what you’d build a pool liner out of. 🤷🏼‍♂️ it comes in rolls and gets heat welded together.
Membrane roof was what I originally wanted to go with but I have not been able to find someone to come out and quote it. They either do the spray foam or elastomeric coatings.

One thing I should have mentioned is it's commercial and in Orange County.

This is an example, building is 8K sq/ft.

My buddy had his shop done with this a few years ago, he's super happy with it. Definitely not the cheapest fix but looks like it stands the test.

Ive done a lot of work on casino roofs in Vegas, almost every one had this same roofing.

PVC and TPO are pretty much the go to for rolled membrane on commercial roofs. If it's a re-roof/cover "top" edge of the runs are usually mechanically fastened, then laps are heat welded. Some are "glued", but not many out west. There's some good polymers, cold app stuff now. For a long time it was hard to get anything decent in Cali in terms of an aliphatic type urethane. The stuff is pretty stout, like shooting peanut butter out of a spray gun.

R&R Roofing out of the Menifee area. They do that type of thing (known the owner and his family for a longtime) I think they do mostly big stuff though...like UC Riverside, tilt-ups and the like. Didn't catch how many squares the roof in question was.
