Good thing my kids are on summer break. They had no idea this was going on right now. The other "gotcha" with this app is the massive amount of data that is used to chase these things around if your not on WIFI. My wife, 10 YO and 13 YO sons don't have unlimited data. My youngest has run up some big bills on his phone in the past. He is banned from you tube because of this.

There is a "lure" feature in the app where businesses can pay for whatever it is you look for to be more common at their GPS coordinates....

I just read elsewhere it is pretty low for data use. It is amazing they pulled that off.
Hopefully its getting some kids outside and moving. Maybe theres a positive effect from this. Whatever works to get some exercise. Its the rebirth of Nintendo

The latesT on the app having access to your Google info has apparently been addressed. There is supposed to be an update fixing this. But you need to go into your Google acct and deny access to Pokemon Go........then you can go and log back in to the app with the update and it should be ok.
