Well I think I got the hang of it. After 3 or 4 trips to the hardware store I finally learned the difference between PEX a and PEX B, and expansion versus clamp fittings🤣

Might not be the prettiest Plumbing work ever but there's no leaks👍👍

I think I'll stick to conduit and wire though.

This is the before and after for the Jack and Jill bathroom. Next will be the tub shower conversion.

Constructive criticism always welcome but don't laugh it's paid for😁
There ya go 👍🏻…..also nice to see ya did blocking behind the mixing valve. Who says ya can’t teach old electricians new tricks 😜😁!

Nice!! A mortar bed float old school style 👍🏻, no Hardi board or Wonder board etc. Refreshing to see someone still takes pride in their tile prep! Now the easy part 😉😁……

I had my bathroom done 2 years ago, second course of tile from bottom is cracked all the way around shower. I got pics of build and its looks like its right at where the hot mop area would of meet cement or whatever it's called. any idea what would have caused this?

I did the demo and the plumbing work. Subbing out the tile and glass portions. I barely have enough talent to figure out the plumbing ain't no way I'm tackling the tile.😁
How did the soldering go?

How did the soldering go?
After the encouragement here and watching a few YouTuber type deals I think I got the hang of it. As was said in this thread previously make sure everything's clean deburred and lightly fluxed. The biggest pointer I picked up from YouTube was to heat the opposite side of where you want to solder and to remove the Heat once the solder starts to boil then complete the solder👍
