It's a ducted 12volt fan so it draws far more juice than just a 12 volt fan sitting on a counter.

Also, set the Testator down to 55 and just throw blankets at everybody.

Funny you say that, thats what we set it at. The whole family likes it cold while sleeping.

Looking at purchasing either a new or used toy hauler to haul around my canam (4 seater). I’ve taken a look around giant RV and several other dealers.

We like the torque 378 and the attitude 3016ss or the 3322sag.
I’m very curious of your experience with these brands or have any other suggestions

I will be towing with a 2019 super duty.

Ive started looking the last few months to replace our Raptor Toyhauler after 15 years. It’s been a great trailer.

I looked at the new Attitude 5er’s the other day. Let’s just say I was a little underwhelmed. When drawers start falling off when your just looking at storage space it’s time to run, lol 😂

I’ve narrowed it down to one of the Genesis Supreme models or a Keystone Carbon or Raptor. The Grand Design Momentum’s G Series also may be in the running

I have had the Genesis 40CR for 3-4 years and it’s been great. It’s big, but when we get to the campsite, it’s great to have all the room. A couple weeks ago we had 11 people sitting inside and talking. Loading my CamAm Max is easy because there is so much room. A friend of mine bought a smaller one with a slide out and his CanAm Max barely fits. It took forever to get loaded up and strapped in because there was no room to walk or crawl around to get to the tie downs.

Don’t buy the torque. Friend of mine has them and it’s been horrible since day one. I have an iconic. Been great. All the recommendations here are good. Buy one that is bigger than you need.

My 2 axle is solid. I was in some crazy wind on Friday with it no problem. I think I’m about 2’ shorter than you. But yes I wish it was triple axle.

My 2 axel is solid as well. Hit some bad wind out of van horn tx to Austin. Had 300 miles of broad side wind. Yes the trailer had a tad sway but a lot of it was having a SW truck. Still driving 70-75 mph.

Covid pricing
Your buddy can sell it for what he bought it for now
Follow @str8 up toy trader and prove me wrong
You won’t

It’s not1/20
It’s “can’t do anything but Camp and boat”

weekend warriors are going for crazy money

the one I listed will sell for 43k or higher , it’s Supply and demand Covid world

Over priced don’t mean people won’t buy it lol. I have considered selling my trailer. I bet I could break even fairly easy.

People are not willing for dealers to get inventory. So they are paying near new prices for used units.

I wonder what happens in 2-3 years when these people that are making their first RV purchase go to sell and find out all about RV depreciation lol.

Personally I think their are allot of people out there getting in over their heads.

She'll straighten out as soon as you make sure she is the first one to get up and fire p the generator. Specially if the batteries are too low to do so. lol!

Yes sir. 1st edition with the fire place in the main slide.

Nice. It’s a great floor plan, we have been thinking about adding a fireplace. Would work great when hooked up and keep the bunk area warmer.

I wish I would have got the 37Gs now. At the time this 34gs was the right size for beach camping which outside of using it for racing was the main purpose. I have considered trading up. I called a dealer I ordered this one from and they’re telling me 4-6 months wait.

I have offered it on the FB pages when people are looking but so far just a bunch of “this is all I can afford “ offers. Lol! Good luck!!

I’m gonna see if I can get Genesis to sponsor me. Haha!!

All true points, however my statement remains true: trailers are selling at 20-30 % more price-wise than they were January 2020.

I’d wager HELOC loans (or similar re fi, and PPP loans are part of the purchase $.
No way, no how the amount of high end boats, sand cars, RV’s are being bought on that many companies doing that well, or people with crazy overtime checks , lol

But in reality look at the #’s. Call it 15% on average. 9k over price on a average 60k price. I’m 44 years old, my kids are 13 & 10 and I’m not putting my life on hold for the ups & downs.

YOLO!!!

I have the Stealth 3016G. Nice trailers. Be prepared to add L brackets to hold the closet facia on. It’s a known issue. Also on the entry side of the master bed above the outside storage. Don’t put your knee on that flat area! Reinforce it from the outside storage compartment.
Also the rear gate latches need larger washers.
Make sure you have access to the generator oil filter. Some people have a support bracket going right under it.

Buy the equalizer 16k. I have the 14k because the brochure said it would have 1400lb tongue weight. Lol yeah right. Try 1800!

I could easily make $15k profit selling my can am and Toy hauler now.
I’ve had no time to use it, but , like ammo, better to have than not.

Never said your statement was false. I actually 100% agree with your comment about how people are paying for all their new shit.

My wife and I were just discussing how the hell people are buying all of these “toys”.

How is it that people can afford.
New Diesel truck
New ride for the wife
New toy hauler
New sxs
New boat
House payment

You would have to have a minimum 200k household income.

Construction is going crazy right now and has been since last year. You had to get "exposed" to get time off 🙄
And all you first responders have been milking that overtime cow dealing with all the peaceful protests 😁

I sold my boat & 67 Camaro. Trailer, new truck, Audi, 69 Camaro, grom & race cars all paid for. Both houses refi’d below 3%.

Just like last time I’m prepared

Heres what you need to know.
They all are built like crap

Try coyne motorsports in el centro or rv world in yuma

True words!! My advice is to buy something close to home. They all have issues and when you need to take them in to get things fixed its much easier to drop it off at a local dealer where you purchased vs having to miss 2 full days of work to drop it off and pick it up when its finished.

When you buy new they all tell you that you can take them to get fixed at any dealer and its all a crock of shit, nobody want to take on warranty work and if they do, their is usually a wait unless you bought it from the dealer.

Also dont get sold on the extended warranty- they tell you it covers everything from bumper to bumper and this is also a crock of shit. In my experience everything that I thought should have been covered wasn't and I was super frustrated because that is not how it was sold to me when we signed the paperwork.

That’s what I say about people who own/run sand cars and have boats :
$300k a year minimum income (V8 sand car/sequential trans-upkeep), and any kind of deck boat / 27’+ fiberglass performance boat

I do both with an old tritoon and sxs ‘s for a lot less

Yep,
Owe less than $90k on home and toy hauler is only payment.
And a wife that makes more than me.
All good in my hood

i talked to this guy about this build he has over 120k in it
Okay
So he paid someone $125+ an hour to build it.
He could be running a score certified sxs in races for less

Labor is the X factor on any build for sure
To each their own, that’s sad in my book (sxs)

I had an Attitude Eclipse. The quality was not stellar, LOL. A few wrinkles in the front skin. Fading vinyl graphics. The electric bunk beds needed repairs. The gas tank for the toys needed the pump gear replaced. The outlets were crooked. But that's all that went wrong.

It was a 30 foot FSAK bumper pull. We loaded it with quads and a motorcycle. Towed with a 3500 crew cab. I think one trip I calculated we had 38 tires with us counting the spare sets of paddles. I didn't have to worry about it as far as scratches and dust and dirt. I bought it used up in Hesperia. I think I paid $16K and sold it a few years later in San Diego for $13K. I had to add a second rooftop AC and two flat screen TVs.

When we changed from desert season to River season, we loaded up the two golf carts to take them to the Islander. One cart was a long six seater cart. The damn thing would get high sided going over the ramp into the trailer. I had to use a set up aluminum ramps to get onto the toyhauler ramp to stretch out the incline. Or pull up onto the toyhauler ramp and then jack it up closer to level to pull the rest of the way in. I had to unbolt the roofs from the carts so they'd fit.

Too many toys to haul at once! They're all history now. It was a lot of work. Kids are all grown up.

Well, after looking at several attitude trailers and two of the MGM by Genesis (355cr/365ca) I can definitely feel and tell the build quality differences.

I am Taking a look at one last attitude which is a trade in (3016ss).

Anyone have any advise of places to check if that 3016ss fits the bill?

A friend of mine sold me his Genesis 2016 40cr, I told him he could sell it for more than he was offering it to me for especially with covid pricing. Overall it was bigger than I wanted to go, but knowing he's had it since day one, how he takes care of his stuff and the boss really wanting it I had no choice. Good news is, by selling to me he has a place to stay if he feels like coming to glamis again.
Coming from a weekend warrior 28fsw to this is a night a day difference. Just the front compartment alone on the 5th wheel holds everything I would stack around the sxs and would have to move before unloading. The solar keeping the batteries charged is another plus, no more plugging it in at home.
I just picked up the same exact model in December and absolutely love it!! Plenty of room for everything, holds 150 gallons of water, big fuel station, etc. Quality, fit and finish on this trailer is excellent!! Wasn’t looking for it but when I came across it and for the price I got it for, there was no way I was going to pass it up.
