Question for the HVAC gurus. I replaced my whole system in 2019. It works like a champ. How often should I have it serviced?

You are kidding, right?
Ask any field tech why they carry are the different freons on there truck.
Obviously you're not in the trade. Specially since you called refrigerants freons. That is a trademark name that DuPont gave to R-22 way back when. Its similar to Kleenex is to facial tissue. Only difference is, nobody refers to anything as facial tissue.

When I was a tech I carried a BUNCH of parts on my truck. That fact alone doesn't mean they need to be changed at certain intervals or at all. They are parts for a repair.

BTW, if you look at the historical cycle of refrigerant phase out, it follows fairly closely to the patent durations held by DuPont. Weird that a massive chemical company could have such foresight to have the next new refrigerant ready to go when a phase out discussion comes out.

Minimum once a year. Depending on the system, more than that. That is assuming you are changing your filters in a timely manner.

Twice a year.

Once in the spring and once in the fall.

Filters should be changed every 3 months.
