I think I'm going to try a meatloaf midweek... when doing the bacon cross hatch for 3-4lbs of ground how much bacon do I need to get?

I am a bit beyond stressed out this week and one of my best coping mechanisms is smoking meat lol...beer can chickens and ribs will be on the weeks agenda as well....maybe pulled pork Saturday.

Well it’s official. For the first time in my life I’ve played with another man’s meat. Of course out of all months it had to be pride month. Joel first set of the meat we got from you I decided to do burgers since I’m a single man tonight 😂. Top notch my friend. Something as simple as burgers you can literally tell the quality of meat from the first bite. Thank you.

Bringing Joel's Meat to the top in honor of Pride Month...
Damn, I have a Prius and a jet bote, and I think that sounds gay🤣
I thought a delivery to N. CA was possible before we left. Guessing not too many deliveries to New England.
I thing we we drove by his exit off 40 on our way east.

Well, in the 90's my brother FedEx'd 4 Double Doubles with dry ice to his friend in a non-In-N-Out state.
Thinking a half or quarter may be a bit steep😂

Hey, hook us up. My kid loves in-an-out. They’re pretty good to me but not life or death.

Did New Yorks tonight. If you haven’t got in on his meat you’re missing out. @wash11

Beef neck bones DELICIOUS!!
We seared them for 5 minutes on each side then in the oven for hour, then poured 2 cups gravey and back in for an hour.

I wish there was some cool butcher name for these. "Neck Bones" sounds a bit off-putting but is one of my favorite cuts. The flavor and tenderness are unreal. Amy started making our tacos and burritos from neck bone meat instead of ground beef a few years ago- I can't put that genie back in the bottle. It's the only way I'll do a burrito now.

How'd you end up cooking it?
Ended up in pressure cooker with seasonings and ranch packet, added all the taters and such at end, it was very good! Made taquitos with it last night, doing sandwich today and dogs talked me out of a few bites this morning with the breakfast lol

I've got 4 lbs of Joels ground chuck in the fridge ready to do the same tonight. Did you do anything to prepare the burgers? Egg or Crackers mixed in as binder? Any seasonings?
I might throw a little kinder‘s salt, pepper and garlic, but nothing else. 1/3 cup ground beef per patty
