Heading to the river tonight, gonna service the boat in the morning and meet my snowbirds (whom i've never met in person). Hoping to get the boat wet around noon and make a run down to Pirates to make sure it's ready for the season

Tomorrow packing up and changing the oil on the new truck. Heading to Havasu on Sunday AM to reclaim my house from my snowbirds. I will be in Havasu for the week to service the boat, get it wet throughout the week, do some off roading in the RZR. Hitting the boat show late next week as well.

Rebuilding pump. Parts just came in from JetBoatPerformance. Now it's off to my brothers father in laws machine shop. Motor will be finished next week, so everything is on schedule. Hopefully with everything new it will be a trouble free season.

Starting the process of converting my 2 wheel drive truck to 4 wheel drive. I have all the parts with me in Phoenix but the Dana 60 is in Chino. So I'm driving to Chino tonight and I'll swap it tomorrow then visit family the rest of the weekend.

I'll make one up tomorrow. The truck is an 02 F250. I have an 02 F350 4wd as well and when parked next to each other and comparing the frames they are the same. I'm swapping the era correct leaf spring suspension from parts I've been gathering. I actually got everything in 2 weeks. The transmission will be part 2, when I get some cash.

Well, the ice has finally melted and they are starting to raise the water on Keuka Lake. Supposed to be 50's tomorrow and 30's with snow again on Sunday. Oldest son has a karate belt test on Saturday. Sunday we turn the water back on at the lake and start getting things ready for the summer. Boat is still in storage until May

Update: oldest son (12 yo) is now a brown belt. It will be about 18 months to two years for him to make it to black belt. A good day indeed.

Heading to the river after work tomorrow (yes that is Saturday, thanks to all you biz owners that require audits, reviews or any other financial statement assurance services) to show the jet boat to a buyer Sunday morning. Head home after the deal closes, wash the truck (anticipating a butterfly massacre) ending with a cocktail, dinner and screwing the wife (OSB style without knocking her up).

I'm doing the same conversion in my 02 7.3 Excursion. My trannys been acting funny so I thought it was the perfect time to do the swap. I went out and bought an entire front end out of a wrecked f250 short chassis. Just have to find the time....
