Has anyone seen or heard of having to buy a channel voucher for Park Moabi channel? This was alleged to go into effect on July 1.

Will you be willing to buy one?

Pirates doesnt own that land FYI and they cant realistically tell you who and who cannot park there.

They will have to come and ask me to move.

PM is still owned by the State however due to budget cuts it is being managed by PC. They have increased all of the camping fees already. It used to be $25 for general camping, now $40. Thats $25 for the state and $15 for PC. Penisula used to be $40, now $50. If they want to increase the day use fee in the channel (State fee is $5) they can. PC has already put up all of their signs acting like they own the place. PC suxs:thumbdown::thumbdown:

We were there last week. Their signs are everywhere saying something to the effect PC customer parking only. No indication of fees being collected as in the past. We parked, went and ate at pc , then left.

I never heard anything about paying to park or ever saw anyone collecting from those who were just hanging around.

I'd pay 25 bucks to ride the zip line, F the parking fee it's not worth it. 30 bucks for a bucket of fruit juice with a sprikle of booze, please bring back Topoc.

Pc is paying 5 % of the fees collected to the county. That means that 95% of the money collected goes to pc.

I'm of the mindset that as things develop and boat traffic increases, you'll see the CG/BLM put speed/towing restrictions, possibly no-wake zones, on that stretch of river from the bridge north to the end of the pennisulas...seen it in many others areas across the US.
