This weekend was another "off" weekend with no events or particular agenda. As usual I just let the weekend unfold and followed where it took me. On Friday I stopped off at Maxed Out Marine and chatted with Ricky and Paul about some exciting things they are working on (stay tuned for that). If you've never been over to Maxed Out Marine stop by and check it out. There are always great boats in stock and Paul and Ricky are more than willing to talk boats with anyone who stops by
As you can see I was working hard at wasting as much of their time as possible...
Then it was lunch time and seeing as I live at the lake, what better way to spend the lunch hour (or two) than waterside with a view of great boats and Havasu wildlife. Nautical pool never disappoints with viewing opportunities.
Of course what Havasu Friday would be complete without a visit with Shintooo and family in the Channel. Shintooo's new program is Friday night BBQ's in the Channel. Armed with a $20 camp grill mad burger skills, Shintooo tames everyone's savage hunger  (Sorry no pics of the burgers, I was too busy eating)
Saturday turned out to be an unexpected and great day! Again with no plans, I get a call from Ricky at Maxed Out wanting to know if I want to go run around Parker for a few hours in his 21RC. My momma didn't raise no dummy, of course I want to ride around all day in a blown Schiada! So off we went!
Once on the water it was time to find some food. Sundance got the call this time and we tied up and went in to order. If you haven't been to Sundance for their food yet you are missing out. The make some of the best tacos anywhere and 4 plates of those little suckers was just what the doctor ordered for a Saturday on the river  Next time you are at the river do yourself a favor and get the pastor tacos! Just be extra careful tying your boat up as the docks there can be hit or miss. They seem to be improving their parking situation, but it still needs a little help so be careful.
With full bellies it was off for a boat ride to see who we could run into. We saw sfv2rvr (Marc) and Dona by the sandbar along with Hammer and his girl in the Hamlett then we headed down river and ran into River Lynchmob (John) and his family enjoying a Saturday afternoon on the dock with the dogs. From their we ran up river where I was pleasantly surprised to see some old friends that introduced me to the river life years ago. We stopped off and got caught up. It's always great running into old friends and sharing a beer and a laugh in the river
Before heading up to Pirates to get off the river we idled through the Keys and said hello to Riverbound (Bill) and crew at Outdrive1's pad. Then it was back up to the trailer... or so we thought. On the way to Pirate we ran across a blown DiMarco that was itching for a race. Not one to shy away from a challenge, Ricky legged it and the race was on! Being that Ricky's boat is an old ski race boat I had the horrifying thrill of sitting backwards while we bounced and diced between other boats until the DiMarco had had his fill an went back to the dock to lick his wounds. This is what the river is all about!

Sunday, we slowed the pace down considerably and splashed the 'ol Taco for some chill time in the Channel again. We ran into Jim Kelly who is a member and his beautiful Conquest deck. We spent most of the afternoon hanging out and talking boats before heading over to the Nautical for some appetizers.
Once at the Nautical we ran into some of Ricky's buddies and we capped off a great weekend with a quick spin in a very nice DCB F32. Nothing like sunset in a hot rod like that! Another great weekend is in the books!
See you all on the water!
