The same view except the big hill on the right is under water…. Staggering amount of water in a short time…

So you can camp at trimmer ? Now
We never did , but it was closer to smoother water
Launch ramp available?
I remember it was always a place to gas up and grab an ice cream
Great skiing up past sycamore cove

Trimmer is dry camping but does have the typical PF Corp maintained block bathroom with showers. Trimmer has about a dozen spots and two PRIMO almost island spots when water is up. Park multiple boats right at campsites.

The island spots are worth fighting for.

Our favorite Houseboat Cove is just past sycamore on the south side. Afternoon shade and ski from the HB to the wires in glass more often than not.

PIcs of the "islands' at trimmer,
first pic I'm standing at the Upper Island and the couple is on the lower island. The second pic is looking from the upper island, across the ramp, toward the campground areas ( can see a blue tent ) with the block bathrooms. Water will lap about 3 feet up the bathrooms at full pool. The last pic is from the bathrooms looking down Windy Gap toward main lake. The "islands" are to the extreme right in the pic.

And yes - just a little bit of wood blocking the ramp. lol! Luckily, the fisherman break it up early in the mornings because they're early risers.. ( suckers! )

The overflow campgrounds at island park
Was where he hung out
Before asphalt roads and sites and the check in ranger station .
At times my parents would follow the water down
We would arrive, launch boat and mom would park 3 feet from the Water . With the van
I think when my dad passed away. It’s been 10 years this year
Pine flat ,was etched in his mind . Forever after .

Great pictures !!!

Hopfully it turns out to be a good year! I always get worried about the trees underwater towards the back. Other than that always been a fun lake

we used to parasail up there all the time , trimmer used to have marina and house boats years ago
I remember parasails were big here for a few years.

I also remember a female getting absolutely wrecked one time when she started running on the beach, the boat sorta stalled, slack happened, the girl got confused and stopped running. Then the boat took off and absolutely ripped her face down through beach, water, then up she went… lol!

Kinda killed our Jonesing about that time…

Yeah- Lombardo’s is still there. Just called Lakeview now. (We still call it Lombardo’s) the Motel is still in place and rooms have been updated a bit, still has the apartments above the store (updated and pretty nice) and a marina is still here with rental barges etc. Store is rarely open anymore. Store on Marina is super nice.

And Rv spots with electrical (not

The Kings River below the Dam. The water is flowing! Farmers wont need it for another month or so.

Wow the marina is so small now I believe when Tony had it was a lot larger. Shit one day I need to drive up to see that place
