The guys just finished framing in my old doors (which are warped as all get out BTW)...

I think that'd be a kinda slap in the face to rip them out now. I actually do like the old large wood door look. I know it's not "up to date" so to speak, but I like it, and so long as I like it.. well.. you know the rest.

I just need to figure out how to make my old doors look like new old doors and I'll be happy. :)

Here is the updated pictures of the Outside shower and the master shower. :) By the first picture you'll see life has been a little rough on the homefront.. LOL We had no sink, so we were washing our dishes outside. :D The patio should be concreted by now (hopefully), and my tile guy is building a Granite bench for the outside shower.

Looks great, guys! I love the gold accents in the granite. It's going to look great with the style of the house. More southwestern, IMO. Can't wait to see it done. :beer We'll have to come by and check it out during the Parker race.

Dave... Don't know if you will see this but I put one of those faucets in my kitchen here in Havasu last year and had to take it out. What I found is sthat the angle of the faucet head caused water to splash all over the place. What a pain...

I change it to one of those suspended spring loaded ones, sort of like they use in restaurants. Works way better...:)

Your place is looking great...

Steve we've been using the kitchen sink and haven't had any problems like that?

So last night we got the call that the tile is close to completion.. or for lack of a better term "done" it's all set finally. Just some grouting and cleaning and we're good to go.

Stacy and I were both pretty excited to go see the Bar, Island, and Fireplace so we jumped in the truck for a quick turn around trip to the river.

Here's the pics from 3 in the morning (we left at 7:30 this morning to come back)

Here's some pictures of the Bar area. :)

The door is off the vanity becuause I need to replace one of the hinges..

All the wood in the house will be stained that dark cocoa color like the vanity. The glass isn't in the showers yet but will be very soon. :)

The bar sink is made by Kolher, it's a 33 inch trough sink.

DUDE! your place looks NOTHING like I remember. In a good way. I have one question though, are you going to get rid of the couches, because like Hot Boat they had some good times but it is time to move on.

I cant imagine how many women got pregnant on those things.:D Again, it looks great!

Those couches are the most comfortable couches to sit /sleep on that I've ever found.. Mr. Vee offered me some pretty decent cash to take em off my hands and have them reupholstered. I'll probably have them reupholstered, and keep them.

Coming along real nice RD.

Thanks Ross! I appreciate it!

Damn! What a transformation! I wish my regular house looked half as nice as that does. The tile work is great. Would hated to have been the person that had to cut the holes for the compass

I thought it was kind of weird how he did it. He laid all the floor tile 1st then came back and cut out the field tile for the compass.

He said that he does it that way becuase he can lay out 4 or 5 different compasses for the customer to pick, and then fabricate them up and install them without having to mess with the floor tile etc..

He uses a makita hand grinder with a kind of diamond cut off wheel to cut it out and lay the new tile in etc..

That's the easy way to do it. If you want to spice up a boring tile job find a mosaic at Tile Club and you can do the same thing. They are not cheap though.

As long as there is carpet under the pool table, I'm happy. :D

Do you still have those foldable "hide-a-beds" I donated a few years back?

Is that the model that you can open while it's running? That one is great for microwaving your hand. I'm still waiting for mine to fall off:D

Mr. Flyin Vee was also kind enough to stop by and hook up the sinks in the master bathroom. (Note the clean caulking job around the sinks!)
