What's he easiest way to transfer pictures from a droid to a PC?

Nope, that's what I thought.

Tried some software, that didn't work either.

set you cloud settings to automatically transfer the pics when both devices are on

The EASIEST way is to share the pic to your Google Drive account. Then you have access to that pic from anywhere. :thumbsup

plug in the cable. open or unlock your phone like normal. I swipe down from the top of the screen and one of the messages that appear reads "USB charging, tap here for more options". Open that, find "File Transfer", and you should get it. Probably find it in setting somewhere too.
