We hopefully have a good seafood restaurant here in Prescott. Angry Crab just opened last week and we are going Wednesday. Curious to hear feedback from those that have been. I’m hoping for oysters.😎

Well growing up on the Chesapeake bay its not my cup of tea
I spent 35 years around the Chesapeake , western side. And you are correct, it’s hard to replace the food, hoping for the best.😎

I think it's just an average chain restaurant - Average food and prices, nothing too special. Kind of like Outback Steakhouse is for steaks.

We like Angry Crab. Is it a fancy seafood place? Not for a second but it is a fun place to eat with your hands and get some decent seafood.

They have grown pretty quickly in AZ. Helpful tip, ask for gloves so your hands don’t smell like Cajun crab for the rest of the night.

I don't have much to compare it to. However, my family likes it. Good tasting food. Fun environment. Messy!!!

Isnt the angry crab more of like a southern seafood food place. Like almost a cajun vibe?

Yeah. When they brought all the stuff out in clear plastic bags with juice in the bottom I was turned off🤢

It’s a different and reasonably fun place. Chain style, bag of shrimp/crawdads with a piece of corn and some potatoes. If you like really hot and spicy it’s available if you wish…

I lived on/near the Chesapeake for 64years before moving to the Keys. Only thing I truly miss is steamed crabs and crab cakes.

Angry crab isn't bad..its a fair deal for what you pay, nothing special but a fun spot to go to.

Friends tried the Prescott location soon after opening. Said everything was over cooked and not good. They love it in Phx and think they need time to get it sorted and rhythm going in Prescott.

Another question. What are all the white shrink wrapped boxes off of Dysart and the 10. I’m now seeing them off the 101 by the stadium.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about the place here in Prescott. We only have so many restaurants here.
The only thing I care a bout is oysters 🦪 on the half, a little cocktail sauce and horseradish.😎

My Wife and Daughter like thos boiled shrimp places.

I hate seafood, so watching them devour bags of bugs with their bibs on is hilarious to me.

Afterwards, they smell like garlic for two days.

Fun stuff!

Well we went yesterday, there was 8 of us. Went early, 3pm. When I didn’t see the shucking station I grew suspicious. I love raw oysters, so I order a dozen. Came with cocktail sauce and horseradish, my wife had the lobster roll and everyone ordered the bowls. Oysters were ok, but not fresh, remember the shucking station I mentioned, well there isn’t any they thawed that morning, the lobster rolls were sad, basically hot dog roll and melted butter wife wasn’t happy. Overall I give them a 6 out of 10. Will I go back I don’t know. 😎
