Started going to Dodger games in 1973, family had season tickets for years. Never saw a better baseball player than Pete Rose. He was an unbelievable hitter from both sides of the plate, ran the bases with reckless abandon, played 5 different positions, extremely high baseball IQ and his desire to win was unmatched. Saw decade’s worth of hall of famers play the game, none of them played it better than number 14.
