I had a plan years ago to take an old boat, build a dock around it for a bar, and make the inside of the boat a hot tub... who would have ever thought that Schiada's would become cheeper than pontoons...

I’ve been to lake Como and while it’s not on the Lake Havasu #2 list 😂😂😂 it’s a beautiful lake even when George Clooney isn’t around

craft beer is $12.50 euros from the bar, a bottle in most towns from a small store is $2 euro, very decent wine is $5.50 euro. I am titanium Marriott legal so get suite rooms when available, and massive Buffett breakfast, sandwiches to go etc. used huge points on this trip for all 5 star hotels, some were as high as $1,250 per night, free to me. Booked 7 months out. Europe is packed with tourists this summer, many aussies, almost no Chinese as oppose to last year. Trains are flawless as usual. My oldest daughter in photo at Milan station. Their first time in Italy.

Venice Italy has many hotels and little rooms to rent. Most of them are nothing special on the island and quite small.
But just off the main island is the JW Marriott hotel here, a few photos, our third time here and this is not some insane

thousand dollar hotel either. But a cold one is $12.50. Even has its own small Catholic Church on the island.
No additional shopping mall it’s just a hotel with a bunch of villas that are outside of the main hotel and several boat docks for all the water taxis. Probably the most unique and peaceful place I’ve ever visited for a hotel. The sunset view is taken from the endless pool on the fifth floor of the main hotel a few feet away from outside dining and bar. About 18 hours a day every 30 minutes there’s a complementary water taxi that takes you to the main part of Venice island for shopping, food, wine tour, etc. Just stunning.
