Where is everyone going in socal to buy boat parts like gauges switches handles ect.?? Rex it seems is closed as well as dana marine. I can go to Teague but it's very far for those little items.

Teague has free shipping currently, so order over the phone. Dana is moving locations and should be back open very soon (they are accepting phone and web orders).

Update for Dana Marine: All inventory, and fabrication has been successfully relocated to our new facility in Anaheim. We have been working very hard unloading pallets and organizing inventory. We are partially functional right now. We actually shipped out some boxes yesterday. It's been very challenging to say the least. But, we are making headway. I expect the website to be back up in a week. Unfortunately, the new location did not have a big enough internet service available to run the server. One is being constructed as fast as possible.

Please do not spread false information. Rex Marine is Not closed. Scaled back as explained in another thread, yes. I was in a car accident the end of March and am not in the shop 100% of the time these days due to back pain and time at physical therapy etc. Email to [email protected] if you have trouble reaching me. I run the shop myself now, not like the old days with 15 guys. I am there every day. Preparing to downsize to smaller facility also more inline with current requirements also within the next 90 days or so.

I also anticipate a more positive working relationship with Dana Marine now that Bob will have the controls there. That has been challenging at best over the past year. I do distribute Dana products, but supply and answers have been a big problem, that should be corrected soon thankfully. As many know Bob worked at Rex Marine for many years.
