So I am a mandatory reporter, not just by law, but also by oath. Awhile ago, the end of last year, I did my duty. Well long story short I have gotton death threats, people saying they are going to kill themselfs, etc etc. Well today the shit really hit the fan. Just got a call that charges have been filed against 5 people involved. So naturally they blame me. Um, hey dip shit, don't give minors who you are shaperoning drugs and booze and you won't get in trouble and wob't be facing felony child endangerment charges. Don't blame me, no way in fucking hell I would risk a misdemeanor charge by not reporting a coach totally fucking up.

How would you feel if a coach you trusted enough to let them take your child on overnight trips was not only providing drugs and booze but was activly partying with them. Let me put it this way there are 7 sections to the coc, the guy violated 5 of them and all but 3 of the sub sections in those 5 sections. The only 2 sections he did not violate were the procedure and the advertising for business sections.

Okay. I am just trying to understand the situation you described. We have two consenting adults living together.
There is no illegal activity. You are raising an ethical question as to their professional association? The coach and athlete relationship having crossed the line if professionalism?

no, but a coach giving booze and pot to a 16 year old, at a sanctioned event, where a friend calls you to come help as the child has passed out from it their consuption and the coach is off banging some one he should not be, there is a prob. its not about youths drink, or youths doing drugs, its about them being provided by a coach, and not just a coach at a low level, but some one that is at the top, that is fucked up, whats more shocking is while every one knew what was going on, the leaders of the NGB and the USOC, did not.
