Pentair Ultratemp ETi Hybrid Pool Heater

I have 2 of these swimming pool heat pumps and they were only used for 1 month. A friend ordered the wrong ones for his application and had to go with something else. They are the latest technology and are like new. They work off of both electric and gas. If you have solar electric this is the best way to heat your pool or jacuzzi and it can also be ran off of gas if needed. 110,000 BTU. Each one new was $6500 before shipping and taxes and they are hard to get at the moment. Will sell each for $3500. In San Diego. 619-339-7553.

Do you install these? I am shopping for my equipment now. Located in Vista. How well will this heat a jacuzzi? Can this be converted to propane? I have solar but no natural gas on my property and can add propane to my equipment pad.

These are natural gas ones. You will need the propane version. When heating a jacuzzi it uses both the gas heater and electric pump to heat it quickly.

What kind of electrical requirements do these heaters need along with the Natural Gas? We have a 135% solar system and maybe one of these would be nice to swap out our older unit. Thanks

I am going to call Pentair tomorrow morning. They list a conversion kit for these units but of course I don't trust that. If there is a conversion kit I would be interested in 1 unit. Can I ask what your friends situation wad that these would not work?

He ordered them new for his pool. It’s a very large high end pool and we changed them out after 1 month. He wanted larger ones.

The size of the connection is 3/4 but the line should be bigger depending on how long it is. I will get dimensions of heater next week.
