I flat said it's not a tuner, I never claimed it added horsepower, I claimed it improved throttle response, which it does. In stock form it doesn't matter if you roll on the throttle if stomp on it there is a lag, pedal commander gets rid of that lag🤷. You keep eluding that I have said it's a tuner. Where am I saying it's a tuner and adds horsepower?
Eluding = escaping or evading

Alluding = implying or suggesting

I could make this a full time gig on RDP.

Serious question, Do you know the MPG difference before and after?
There is no difference, other than I have a little more fun driving the truck which probably would hurt MPG's. The Banks is programmable with an APP that you can set the pedal response, I keep mine right in the middle of the settings. When the truck goes to the dealer for service, I unplug it since the dealer plugs into the OBD port to scan the truck when they check it in. That is when I am reminded how much of a difference in fun to drive it makes. I have put it to full response or 100% and it is just to touchy.

I have the Banks Pedal Monster🏁💪 -23 Silverado 1500 5.3 liter. What a difference in response. The throttle lag stock is paint dry watching……..🤦‍♂️

When I traded my 2018 GMC 3500 in earlier this year I removed the Banks tuner, gauges and pedal Monster. I'll take some pictures and post them up in the classified if anyone is interested.
Banks Goodies listed in classified Everything Else section

My f150 (3 .5 twin turbo with a chip and 10 speed trans) has a little bit of throttle lag. I'm not sure if it's the FBW or just a hint of turbo lag or maybe just a bit of both but it takes a bit of getting used too. Even just a bit of spirited acceleration usually results in tire spin.

There is no manner in which the pedal commander can fix that
I've driven my dad's truck with and without the Pedal Monster. It made a MAJOR improvement. The ramp speed of the throttle position is noticeably quicker. Much more akin to a cable (or more so if you want it to be annoyingly touchy). It takes the opening from a parabolic speed profile to a linear one (how close to linear is based upon the setting chosen). How it does this, I don't know. But it absolutely does it.

Stomp the pedal in stock form.... no wheel spin the lag is so slow. Stomp the pedal with the pedal monster..... roasting them for days.

Wrong, you are not reading what I am saying. The lag still exists if I stomp the pedal from idle, I still wait, the stock "program" (lack of a better term) still has a lag from idle to 50% and that is where the pedal commander comes in.

The chevys used to be notorious for this, it's some kind of torque attack rate they wrote into the ECU firmware, i have no idea why the hell they did it.

DBW pedals are capable of reacting faster than most cables because of the lack of mechanical mass and friction. They haven't run throttle cables in F1 cars for decades, it's all DBW.

That response lag is beyond dangerous, especially when pulling into traffic or making a yield left through traffic. Like LBZ said a pedal commander can't fix that bs.

IBHSBZ says it doesn't and can't. It is all just a figment of our imagination 🤷

What i'm saying is that in certain cars the delay is built into the ECU, a peddle commander can't fix it. I don't know what the engineers were thinking when they wrote the software, it's dangerous

I have a new ram ecodiesel and the turbo lag is annoying as fuck, it goes nowhere and then it goes somewhere too fast when it does. It's impossible to be smooth with accelerating. I don't think the pedal dealio is it but turbo lag instead.
I have a 22 ecodiesel. It's not turbo lag it's the throttle delay that's built into the system. I think traction control also has something to do with it. The only way to fix this is with a tune.
