PCI / Lowrance info

Anybody have a good source on operation of this stack. Friend bought a X3 with this stack, and previous owner lost the books. Lowrance elite fs7, The lowrance website talks more about fishing than off road use. Supposedly it has the card in it for AZ and glamis. I know it works,been able to set the time,(but only in 24 hour format ). but we can’t even get a map to come on. I think we got the headsets working to talk driver to co pilot. So I assume if we had another car on the same channel we could talk car to car.Cant seem to get the blue tooth to link up to a phone to play music in headsets.

PCI is set up in Glamis on big weekends stop by and they will hook you up

That setup is actually a high dollar, excellent radio/intercom. The HDS7 is what I have in my car, the Elite is very similar. Call PCI and ask for Scott (Steinberger), he’s the owner and took over when his Dad ( The Weatherman ) passed away. Scott will walk you through everything over the phone when you tell him you have their product in your X3.

You can probably find an owners manual for the Lowrance on Google and print it out.

PCI has an excellent tech department, shoot them a call or email, or drop by their store/ trailer at Glamis. Also, if you haven’t, check their website, they might have a manual or other info for download.

They will email you all the info you need. I prefer email over phone myself as it’s written so you can reread and go as slow as you need.

Where are you located?

I run that same GPS and also have one on the boat…. My problem is I don’t use it all the time and forget the process.…. Then have to fiddle w/ it to recall the process.

Im in havasu.Probably be in glamis. damn these cars are quick, its a 22 XRS RR Smart Shox. In comfort mode, floor it from a stop, the front comes up a foot the rear squats a foot, and she boogies. Put it sports+, and it might be pulling the front tires off the ground, the ass end squirms and hold on. Lol

@zx14 do all of what is in the cheat sheets. Turn all the fish crap off if it hasn’t been already.

The “maps” for a Lowrance are usually just routes on a yellow or white background. There are no satellite images like Google Earth unless you put a SD card in that has the images like the below, and then you can get the routes overlayed on images.
