So I had an appointment in Valencia today, on the same street that Paul Walker crashed on.

I don't want to seem harsh here but there are still people there paying homage to him. About a dozen or so. One girl on her knees praying. A guy and girl hugging each other. I mean really? It's a sad deal but we're not talking about a place where John Lennon died or JFK was shot.

These same dozen emotional people probably wouldn't be to upset at the Vietnam memorial wall.

What the f is this world coming to?

On a side note the skid marks are still there, very long skid marks. We know now he was doing 100 plus, but how the hell the initial reports could come out that he was doing the speed limit were obsurd.

Seen on TV last night that LA City may pass a law against long term memorial sites. There is one that is going on 2 years now.

You're just bent because you couldn't find parking close enough to offload the bronze statue you had made for him. :p

The city must be cleaning it up daily. There wasn't any large amount of stuff. The tree has been cut down as well.

I used to work down the street from where Charles Lewis (AKA MASK) from Tapout clothing was killed in his Ferrari. There was NICE UFC & Tapout swag left there! Newport Beach cleaned it up pretty quick, on the anniversary though, a bunch more swag showed up at that light pole on Jamboree. T-shirts, all kinds of UFC and Tapout stuff.... If one was low moral fiber, they might think to stop take up a collection.... anything left on the curb could be considered trash ya know. :rolleyes

I hate roadside "memorial" sites. No matter who it is.
Cemeteries are for memorial.

I've told my wife and kids that if I die in a car crash to not build a roadside memorial where I crashed. If they want to do something that's ok, just make it somewhere I liked to go. Like the bluff overlooking the river where I have my evening cocktail or something like that. Not in a ditch next to a road.

Those are the same jerk offs who I heard leaving Lone Survivor saying..."yeah, that really happened" and laughing. They left before they showed the actual pics of the lost Seals and some of the other stuff at the end that really moved me....:thumbsdown

Sometimes I swear I'm on the wrong planet.....:rolleyes

If I had seen that attitude when I saw the Movie.... You would heard of me on the evening news, as it was I had to remind the 3 teenage boys sitting next to me, that he should not be texting, we didn't want another Florida situation, his friend looked at me and told him to put it away.... :D :D :D
