Reading the article, I don't think I'd heard DePape was a Canadian before. I do find it quite odd that a guy was going to hurt Pelosi by attacking her husband...while they were both less than fully clothed, and initially there were no signs of forced entry according to the police report.

It went from a domestic, to a political tool.

Sometimes I read things and think to myself... There is no way someone could be that stupid. So here I offer both my responses just incase I misunderstood your reasons/perspective while posting the above copy and paste.

If you actually believe the above....

Is chill's theory any more "stupid" than those who are convinced and have repeatedly argued it was a grinder date gone bad?

Obviously if it was, the defense would have certainly subpoenaed the relevant chat on grinder and presented it as a defense.

Yet here the defendant sits in jail heading for prison, bewilderingly from what many are positively convinced to have been a gay hookup gone bad.

It must just be baffling to some why that defense was not presented. 🤷‍♂️
