The reason for the post is to highlight the absurdity of singling out the behavior of a few and projecting it on an entire political party. It happens a lot in here and it's weak and counterproductive.

Perhaps you can (since no other democrat has) explain to me why your party has had such a title since the mid to late 1960?

When I graduated HS in 87, there was no such thing as a black democrat senator.
That didn’t happen until? 1993....
It really took your party close to 30 years?
