Badenoches and bluewater.

GREAT place to watch ski racing, as there will be guys 50' off the beach @ times, and you can get a real feeling of speed.

@ worlds a few years ago, some one was radared @ 117mph on this course.

Course is typically from Bluewater (pits) up to Bransons. There was some talk about turning at Badenochs but not sure what became of that idea.
Personally I like the long course to Bransons, you get a combination of water conditions from chop to fast glassy water

Same as always, is this your first time going to the river? :smackhead:D Actually they run up to Branson. You planning on going?

Those that have confirmed to going are: Lynch, aRDy, Stacy, and myself. Maybe that punk kid from Boulder will make a showing?

WTF?
I guess I may be wrong.

If they did that, it would be the noose around ski racing's neck. Parker is the best venue to watch the races, but if they turn at Badnoches, no one will show up next year to spectate.

Could not agree more Big D. but the talk last year was to turn at Badenochs so that "they" could have a course more like the Worlds Competition coming up in Belgium where they will be racing in a cannal.
:fsakes
Like I said this was talked about, not sure what the final decision is.

How did Belgium end up with the Worlds again, wasn't it just there? Maybe it's just the Diamond race I am thinking of.

Anyways, shortening the course will not make the water anywhere near the canals. Shortening would do the opposite effect, as that is always the smoothest part of the course. If they are trying to keep/get people interested in the sport, this would be a poor decision.

Feels like it. Haven't been out there since Thanksgiving....... :thumbsdown

I don't think I made it to the ski races last year, only the 300. Then again, I'm usually drooling drunk and/or working on the house..... so WTF do I know:D??!!

Wow, thanks for the kick in the junk! :D If you had something that was more interesting to say, I may listen....... no one want's to hear how your prostate is inflamed. :D

NWSRA has been known to change things on the fly, so info received can only be used as a general approximations. ;):D

That's Jimmy Hansen's Rush, it's not set up for ski racing. It doesn't get used for racing anymore, just a very fast play boat. Some of the Schiadda lover's out there should have a go at it, see what a fast v-drive is all about. :D:D:D

Ya cause we all know every Schiada runs deep into the 100's. We only ran this boat up to about 5k RPM this weekend. ;)

You'll have to ask Wilkes what it'll run. I believe hes the only one thats crazy enough to go that fast in it. But I do believe around 120 would be close to accurate.

I'll ask him tomorrow, I have to run by there anyway.

I would venture to say that would run a bit over 120. Wilkes is getting old, he, doesn't have the will to try and run things flat out anymore. :D

I was talking about a schiada that "claimed" to have done over 120. Funny thing is, none of them that claim to run the big numbers had a GPS speedo in them. :hmm I believe there are a couple out there that will run close, but would require 1600hp+ and a lunatic behind the wheel. People think I am a schiada hater, which is far from the truth, I just call out the BS when I hear it. That, and only a few have made advances that were industry changing, and of those, most weren't rigged by schiada..

I was told 120 when at the schiada regatta. :smackhead:D

If you wanna go that fast you oughta get a jetboat, all the ones I see on ebay and craigslist are way faster than that at a fraction of the price. :D

The truth is hard to take for some when it comes to a Schiadas speed. I agree with you though on all of it. And I love the Schiadas too. But I think we both know the reality. In the end I would put my money on Gary's red schiada with him behind the wheel. :thumbsup:D

Yes, "Justified" hauls ass! Personally it's the fastest Schiada I have see, and Gary definately has the talent and huevos to drive it!

Lawn Chairs. They won't let you on the water between the buoys anyways while the race is on.

All you would get to see is the upper turn, which isn't that great. You can watch it from Badnoches or the Bluewater, both of which have excellent spectator viewing. That is if you dont have access to a dock or water front.

Don't get too bold there, Bobby B! We may have to humble you a bit. ;)

Are you pulling Jay again this year?

I am sure we'll make it by the pits at some point. I'll be at Lynch's house, so when you go by we'll cheers you! :beer

Dragging the damned trailer...:D

Boat flat runs out of poop @ 72 w/ me behind it:swear Might be a few more playing w/ set-up, or throwing HP at it, but i think it's time for something a bit more dedicated, and a bit less "friendly":thumbsup

All i need is 5 lil numbers to line up, and i'll be one of the Schiada "chosen crew";)

Well one at a time.

If Dennis is throwing them make sure you are wearing helmets, preferably full face, life vest and protective hand gear. :fsakes
