My dad and I used to do it all the time and got away with it. I would ski from Marina Village to the damn and back.

As long as you don't crash the boat without mufflers you should be fine. :skull

[I still wouldn't do it though...]

Do it at havasu when we are in a pinch and not a lot of people are out on the water. Just wanted to know how strict it is in Parker. I'm talking like 6-7am

Never seen a "ranger" in Parker.. I've seen cops, I've seen CRIT, I've seen coast guard, I've seen fish and game..

That being said, if they see you you're fucked.. If they don't your fine. At 6:00 am I'm wagering nobody is gonna see you to answer your question.

Parker is not like Havasu though.. Even at 6:00 am there's boats on the water, and it's not spread out. If that driver isn't on his A game and leaves a skier out there for awhile it could put the skier in a fairly awkward situation.

To get back to reality though.. Locals do it all the time during the week without incident.

Lol didn't know what the "boat cops" were called that way. Havasu seems to have every agency...

Anyways was just humoring the idea. More likely than not would be me pulling a buddy. Guess I'll just feel it out. If no good we may have to find a spotter or go back to the lake.

If you don't start drinking, then you are stuck skiing with a hangover... which sucks!!!;)

Winter time in Parker you dont see the sheriff at all. Once it starts to warm up the sheriff is out late Thursday through Sunday. I havent seen the sheriff before 11am. Go for it it's the river and Parker is closed.

What could go wrong at 7 am while all the drunks and PWC pilots are sleeping? :thumbsup

More often than not, first water is grabbed by a couple f'n sit downs between 5:30 and 6.

Absoultely, positively YES you will get the blue light special if you are spotted. Been a homeowner there since '79; it's one big ass rule at the strip not to F with.

During the summer they start skiing at first light. Seen a couple of boats with no spotters. During the week not to bad, weekends get hoppin fast.
