Parker Ski Races This Weekend

Is it going to be worth it to shoot photos on Sunday, or should I just man the ice chest?

You have two hands :skull lol... Stryderphoto and 1Manwolfpack generally shoot both days. They do some from the beach then go up river and shoot some along the course. Most boats will be running both days, maybe a couple less sunday if anything breaks on Saturday :eek

Good info, thanks! Never been to a ski race so I had no idea how they did their deal.

Cool! Yeah, If you have a big lens, they will go up and have a hill they will shoot from. If you hit me up saturday morning I can get you on a turn boat on the water to shoot from as well...normally make for some good shots. There are some folks along the river too that may let you hang out on there dock too. I'll PM you my number.

Most everything can be found on NWSRA.NET

Come to a race, watch, and ask questions. Most everyone is game to help and love seeing new people join the sport!

Thanks!! I love racing. Went Long Beach the past 2 year but I have never been to an Enduro Race/ waterski race. I can't wait to go and watch n hang out

I can't make it this year. I started a new job and I don't any vacation days for 6months. I'm in Training Mode

And good seeing a lot of old friends and meeting some new ones. I had an absolute blast and can't wait to do it again. A month until Havasu!

On Saturday evening, April 12, when the Havasu Boat Show closes, you are invited to the "After-The-Show-Exhibitor Party" from 6:00 to 7:30pm at the Park area beer garden at the boat show. Free beer, chili bowls, and chips! Just be sure and wear your participant wrist bands. Hope to see everyone there!

I was fortunate enough to ski behind the Mickey B boat 939. We raced in the Sr. Men Class (30-40 men) in the mens marathon. There was three of us in that class, and it was a battle between us. We took second place Saturday and first place Sunday with an overall 1st for the weekend, in our class. :champagne: HUGE thanks to my driver Bob, REB939, and my Uncle Larry for observing.

Hey Justin, it was my pleasure! I had a great time with you and Paul. You skied a great race, and gave it your all :thumbup:

Paul, riding backwards in your Schiada was awesome....your boat is a champ and you're a great driver! There were a couple times we were taking some good chop and the boat in conjunction with your driving knocked it down for Justin. Not to mention the only boat bumpin tunes from the launch ramp to the start line! Another highlight for Justin's race was running 3 wide on lap 2 with the 512 and 501 boats...its a rush.

Justin, thanks again for the t-shirt...not necessary but much appreciated :thumbup::thumbup:

Can't wait for Havasu!!!
