All boats off the water by 4pm. No warning whatsoever...; Thread Update Edit:
kippy said today at 11:08 AM Via a Post Report meant for all...My apologies to everyone here on RDP as I seemed to have posted a misleading unsubstantiated rumor. I posted out of frustration over lack of communication from authorities....Sorry about that guys and gals, carry on.

We kept telling you, it would occur.

Everything that is happening on the coastal areas of SoCal will likely happen out there, we are just a few weeks ahead. Closed launch ramps, closed beaches, closed boardwalks (think channel area sidewalks) ect...

Sheriff at Rock House Ramp. BLM land

Yes BLM is closing their ramps, and CRIT closed theirs as well.. CRIT actually doesn't want anyone boating down by the casino etc..

AZ side ramps are still open.. I'm not even sure what the legalities would be of actually closing the river, but that would involve the coastguard I'm sure.

From what I understand there is no intention of closing the river..

However if Robby and his dumb ass friends keep doing 4 boat raft ups..I can see it possibly happening. (I saw a picture in a group text earlier.. no I'm not gonna upload it)

Going off like Memorial Day right now........ maybe everybody getting a last rip in. If they wanted to avoid the crowds, maybe they should have anounced earlier in the week.

It is pretty crazy, have had 22 boats enter and exit the Keys in the last half hour. My wife counted thirteen people in one wake board boat a few minutes ago. In my subdivision Keys II we have more houses occupied currently than on any holiday ever. ( small groups at these houses, not big summer groups )

I am keeping my distance from all of them.

Just like in 1983 when they had the floods Sheriffs came by and warned Us they (Law Enforcement) were Closing the River that afternoon and if we didn’t have the Boats out by a certain time we were getting citations and Fines. So we pulled everything out and Moved up to Black Meadows for our last few days it was crazy .

Emerald Cove closed their ramp today.
There are so many ramps in Parker, I'm sure boating will continue in Parker during this crap.

One good thing about this shut down. A bunch of bass boats and john boats are on Kentucky Lake down near my dock. They are showing me were all of the good fishing holes are. LOL No boat yet for me, but hopefully soon. New dock is going in, supposedly in about 4 weeks.

All recreational boating, swimming, water sports, fishing etc... have been shut down on water ways in San Diego as of this morning. It does not matter if your boat is in the water, you can't use it. The reason given is people wont stop going out in groups. If caught it's a misdemeanor.

This is likely coming to Havasu, Parker etc...

Up here in Malibu you would have thought a paddle boarder was smuggling blow.

I gotta find the video but the coast guard and life guard boat were cornering the guy against the pier.

Sheriff arrested him on the beach.

Would be interested to see what section they arrested him for. Totally absurd your letting convicted criminals out of custody but treat this guy like he’s on America’s most wanted list. Lawyers gonna have a field day I think for some of these “ citations” written. We aren’t under martial law these county mandates don’t trump federal law.

Agreed. If you watch the video the life guard boat backs down on the guy within 20ft of the pier. Imagine if they damaged the pier or the boat trying to apprehend a paddle boarder.

Not knocking the skippers capabilities, as he handles it well. But my thought is “why bother?”

You could easily put a deputy on the beach and when the guy inevitably comes to shore give him a ticket.

What the heck happened to individual freedom?

If you want to stay home and protect yourself, then stay home and hibernate away from all people. That should be your right.

On the other hand, if you feel healthy and want to go out side with people within your own group/family and risk getting sick, then than that should also be your right.

People need to relax. If you want to stay in then do so, but stop trying to control what other people do. I think people are more likely to pick up a virus pumping gas or walking around a grocery store while "isolated" than they are boating, paddle boarding or going on a hike.

Governments are overreaching like crazy right now. They and the growing totalitarian public need to be put in their place.

Some people need to lay off the news a little bit and stop living in fear. Their support only helps the government take stuff away. What's next?... we can't have cash because it can carry germs? Or.... This becomes a yearly event for every flu season? Think long term here stop fueling the fire for government to overreach. Practice your own safe measures and keep them to yourself. LOL

Fucking bullshit. SUNSHINE KILLS THE VIRUS. By all means keep people inside....fucking morons.

I agree about the large groups, but fuck it, if people want to infect their entire family, you need to let them.

If citizens are minding their own business and using OUR fucking state parks/beaches/waterways/lakes there should not be any lockdown like this....

WE OWN THOSE PROPERTIES, THE STATE IS ABUSING IT'S TRUST IMO.

It’s such a joke if people are being arrested for surfing or paddle boarding. WTF you are out alone with no one around you. But damn be homeless live on the sidewalks laying in groups and it’s ok. 🤔

Liberals never let a crisis go to waste. This is their once in a lifetime chance to control humans. They’re celebrating the search and capture of the paddle boarder lol.

I can assure you that if it needs handling under my roof it gets handled. Not a law on the books that can fix the shit I have going on as quickly as I do.

Unfortunately there are people in this world who need to be told when, and how, they need to get it done. Hence the Democrat party being born lol.
