I'm taking my dad for a couple hours this Saturday. He's not real mobile, on oxygen as well. It's been 20 years since I've been and have no idea where to go without having him walk forever. This is likely the last time he'll see boat races on the strip so I want him to have a decent view. Any info would be appreciated!

It’s at blue water this year right? Seems like a horrible spot for spectators.

My first instinct is to point you to the large empty lot that has a no trespassing sign. Just above Badenoch's , drive straight into it on Palo Verde from the 95. That way you can park your vehicle adjacent to the water for his comfort. I have invited a pretty good group to my place including photographers and pit crew members who will be able to signal their boats when it's time for them to pit on the next lap.

Thank you! I wasn't sure if the course still went that far up. That's the area we've set up in the past, but that was 20 years ago.

Just be aware that the area is now marked "no trespassing", but it is one of the places you can be closest to the passing boats.

Your dock is a great spot. You were very nice to let us use it and your ramp when I threw a blade off the prop last time I raced the enduro. Thank you for the help

I have a bunch of friends invited to the dock, but keeping the ramp clear if anyone needs to retrieve a boat here during the race.
