If you have a Samsung or LG TV, I'd recommend waiting until they work out the bugs. I spend 2 hours talking to a little girl in Mumbai, India who confessed there was a major glitch and I can't access 1883 until their techs find a fix.

Subscribed to Paramount+ via fire stick on our Vizio TV. Went with the no commercial plan. Not having any trouble so far. Was able to also sign in on the Samsung in our bedroom.

When will it end?!

Netflix, Amazon prime, Apple TV, Hulu, Disney plus, paramount, peacock on and on and on 🤦‍♂️ Meanwhile all
Of em are fuckin the movie workers.

“Cut the cable” and spend twice as much on freakin 20 apps. Lol. It’s a conundrum.

However, back on topic. 1883 is on the CMT channel and I stumbled onto the end of episode 2 last night. Damn it looks good. Still haven’t sat down and watched Yellowstone. Need to though.

I bought P+ on Amazon Prime. As soon as 1883 and MoK are done, I will cancel it and do it again once the next seasons come out. I imagine Paramount will figure all this out though and run them consecutively once everyone is hooked on the shows.

I also just buy Yellowstone seasons on Prime as well so I dont have to deal with commercials.

I have Samsung TV's and haven't had a single issue with P+ purchased and gatewayed through Prime. I have nothing but problems with HBO max purchased through the Samsung app though. I'm starting to think Samsung itself is the issue and by purchasing and gatwaying through a third party app (like Prime, etc.) is the way to go?

I am so sick of subscribing to this subscribe to that everything needs a new subscription service to watch now. At what point to do all these fuckers get back in bed together again and say you have to have this cable provider to watch me, this is getting redic.

I already have YouTubeTV with a recorder.
YouTubeTV has Paramount.
I set the recorder to record 1883 & Yellowstone.
I watch both shows about 45 minutes later than the normal scheduled time.
So 45 minutes later I go to my recorded shows and watch either show and I just fast forward through the 31 minutes of commercials.
…Another way I can watch both shows without the commercials … I watch them both on “Prime” network for free cuz I’m a prime member with Amazon.
I can’t do commercials anymore on any network.
I‘d rather watch hours of “Haulover Inlet“ on YouTube before I’d watch anything on regular commercial TV networks with the endless hammering of commercials.

I think the same it’s how direct tv started was like 30 a month now we’re over 100.

All these stream services are good but they all have certain programs and one doesn’t get all the shows some people want so they need to get multiple services or upgrade. Sure 5 here 10 there sounds good but add all up end of month or year.

Wife gets direct tv I rarely watch it between antenna and free streams I’m just fine.

Soooooo, what we actually do is password share with a group. I have Amazon prime and Disney plus. We share with our group and get Netflix, Hulu peacock, hbomax free.

Also, I called direct a long time ago. Said, I don’t want any specials. Give me the basic package. They said you want the walnut package thoigh right? No. I don’t. You want free hbo and cinamax for 3 months the it’s only such and such a month after. No. I don’t. On and on. Give me the basic no frills.

Ended up being $75 a month 5 boxes with DVR.

I don’t watch sports so that pet was easy. The pay movie channels play the same fuckin thing over and over again and most the time it’s movies that are on USA or tnt network at the same time. 🤦‍♂️

With Netflix that cancels out pay movie channels for us. There’s also ways to get sports via streaming services for free or minimal fee. So no need for sports center.

In the end, think I’m all in for like $110 a month. Which frankly is still too much. Thinking about giving direct tv the boot all together.

A couple of members suggested either normal Paramount or CMT for episodes airing a week after Paramount +. I just wonder how many episodes as I'm sure it's a trap. The problem is, I've now recorded Ep 2 and will get 3, but I can't find Episode # 1 unless I watch it on my computer.

Yep. I noticed that too. Episode 2 and 3 were coming up but episode one had obviously already aired and wasn’t airing again any time soon it appears. 👎

Episode 1 was combined with a Yellowstone trailer on Dec 20, Titled 'John Schools Carter'. 5 min trailer then episode 1 of 1883 on spectrum cable.
