LOL,

He wants Greenland too…..

"for purposes of National Security and Freedom throughout the World, the United States of America feels that the ownership and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity."

He does such amazing job of getting your panties in a wad 🤣🤣🤣
Lol

I don’t really care what he does as it cannot affect me.

I just really enjoy how he says literally the dumbest stuff and his worshippers roll over and piss on their bellies in adulation.

I’m going to take the Panama Canal back or I am going to take over Greenland. You can’t make shit up this stupid. Can you imagine the number of leaders and people in the world just laughing their asses off.

What's the difference between Trump saying he wants control of Panama, and other presidents placing puppets in control of Panama? Hell, when one of those puppets went rogue, we suddenly decided he was corrupt, and invaded. Trump's just saying it ahead of time.

The US controlled the Panama canal until December 31, 1999. Bush invaded Panama in 89 not over the canal or any problems with the canal, but in order to depose Noriega who had been charged in the US for racketeering and drug trafficking. America turned the canal over as it was tired of paying for it and did not want to invest the billions required to upgrade and modernize it.

The canal is controlled by the Panama Canal Authority, an autonomous authority under the Panamanian Constitution. It has exclusive responsibility for the operation, administration, management, preservation, maintenance, and modernization of the canal.

The canal had a massive expansion at a cost of 5.25 billion which opened in roughly 2018 including a second dredged lane and new locks at both the Atlantic and Pacific doubling the capacity as the original improvements were too small for modern container and bulk ships as well as the original channel was filling with sediment. It was financed partly by the Panama Canal Authority reserves and an approximate 2.3 billion loan from a consortium of international banks including major US banks.

The fees to cross the canal represent charges to operate the canal and service the debt for the expansion, not unlike how many large capital expenditures are paid for. If America wants another black hole of red ink as well as a never ending conflict, go ahead and take back the Canal. The premise is so absurd it is laughable.

What’s the rest of the story? How did the canal come up in recent conversation? Why the canal? Why now?

Chinese companies have been investing in port and storage facilities in Colon where duty free trade occurs. Many of these investments are joint ventures with the Panama Canal Authority.

Chinese companies and their government policy makers understand the importance of, and are investing in the canal and international trade.

The first post I agree with...this one I do understand, but if you read it with a CCP accent, it's sounds very, dare I say, "propagandist"?

It’s an objective economic observation.

Chinese foreign aid is specifically focused on expanding their commerce in the target. They believe with expanded economic ties there is less need for military intervention as the partners become economically dependent upon each other and as such their influence in the targeted region is expanded.

It’s very rational.

I agree, but when Russia does the same in Africa (China's doing it too) people lose their minds. I'd much rather see investment in developing countries than blasting them into submission.

Lol don't you get it, it's rational for the Chinese government to try and help bolster their economy, It's not if the US does the same.... 🤣 🤣 🤣

You could have just said it’s in their best interest in the quest for complete world domination.

The winners come and go as they have for generations. But one can't win if they are afraid to compete.

China has been slowly acquiring property adjoining the area, A Threat to the Canal's Operation.

Gordon Chang, an expert on China and its relations with the U.S. said on "NEWSMAX" yesterday that China could "Shut Down" the Panama Canal at Will and there is nothing anyone can do about it without (?)

A Shutdown would result in a Massive Shipment of products through the important Waterway. "Brandon isn't going to do anything about it, and the U.S. Military needs so many things. President Trump does not want to Bite Off more than he can Chew until he has a handle on things, which could be months away.
