My wife once took me to Palm Springs in mid-July for a weekend getaway. I made it about 4 hours and we were in the car headed back home. The pool had a 2'' layer of sunscreen that made it feel like jello and there was absolutely no enjoyment being stuck next to that cesspool. Never again.

Hopefully your weekend is more enjoyable.

Love Palm Springs. Outstanding golf (just gotta get out early) , great resorts and places to eat.
We usually start with lunch at the BeerHunter to kick it off.

Amen - what could you possibly need that would take up that much space!!!!

My rule is it must fit in one carry on bag - if my wife is going someplace for more than 3-4 days she will take a "shoe bag" along with her 1 carry on. Which I end up carrying on because she already has her purse.

But the thought of needing a trolly just to check it ...

BTW - my wife and daughter just went to Palm Desert for the weekend, apparently the Mastro's on El Passao is quite the place for a gal looking for free drinks.

Kids love that place since they were in High Chairs.

I do not understand the appeal of Palm Springs at all. Been there a few times for various things. It's not Vegasy enough to make it worth the crazy temps and wind.
