Painted registration numbers removal SoCal

Ok gang. The new boat has the reg numbers painted on, and I need them changed to the new numbers that I am going to run. Anyone have a contact number for a company, or guy that can do this? The boat is off the hill, and I can take it to someone. I’d also like to get it ceramic coated, so maybe something like detail specialties in Havasu?

My recommendation, is who ever you have paint the new numbers on, ask them to remove the old ones, or who they would have do it.

He did mine the same day he pinstripes my buds harley. He’s a great dude, when I dropped off Instagram I lost touch with him unfortunately, but only good stuff to say.

I’ve heard this works but to be careful. Guys told me to tape everything else off, spray the oven cleaner, let it sit for 30-60 seconds then wipe off and likely wax it after.

I’ve also heard to just use acetone on a rag and slowly wipe and remove it.

Like previously said, EZ-off oven cleaner. I spray it on a rag to minimize the area and dripping. Comes off with minimal effort.

Oven cleaner. I covered the trailer and the anodized rub rail then sprayed it on, wiped it off. Worked great.

Same here. The odorless one or whatever they call it. Sponge and easy off.
Piece of cake.

I started with just a small bit to see how it worked, took a little while because I was being careful.
By the time I did the other side i had it down to a matter of minutes. Lol

Put a drop cloth down if you don’t want the floor or drive way stained.
