Wouldn’t the federal government getting rid of CARB violate Trump’s and MAGA’s fundamental principle of states rights?Hopefully Trumps administration will be able to dismantle or at least take away the unchecked authority that CARB has - they want to reformulate gasoline sold in California to have less CO2 and cost an additional 65 cents a gallon. This shit has got to end.
It would be nice if the federal government took away the states rights to establish CARB.
The problem with this is that CARB is not an agency elected by the people, they are appointed and can’t be removed or impeached by the people of the state.Wouldn’t the federal government getting rid of CARB violate Trump’s and MAGA’s fundamental principle of states rights?
It would be nice if the federal government took away the states rights to establish CARB. But that would be the equivalent of the federal government taking away a states rights to set abortion policy as each state sees fit.
And we all agree that the states should be free to decide for themselves.
Feds need to get rid of the EPA. Once that happens, every other state will kick CA's ass in terms of profits, production, etc....and fuel prices will likely drop even more everywhere else.Wouldn’t the federal government getting rid of CARB violate Trump’s and MAGA’s fundamental principle of states rights?
