Metolius River? That water is amazingly clear.I have older relatives just outside of sisters overlooking some river or stream that escapes me at the moment. 500 or 1000 feet down to the water.
I am having no luck trying to figure it out . They are about 5 miles past the school heading north if my memory serves me correctly on a development with 2 to 5 acre lots. Its been a while since I was there.Metolius River? That water is amazingly clear.

@buck35 if I remember correctly didn't you work at Alcoa? If yes, did you work with Joe Gates?
Without further mucking up Hulas thread, who all lives up here and where ? I know where some are and have a good idea of others , but no clue of many. For what it's worth I live in the Wenatchee valley area in Washington.
His Dad's place up stemilt Creek , or his place in s. Wenatchee off Miller street.I don't know his wife well, just met her this last Christmas. The Gates family farm was our next door neighbors. Joe was on our irrigation districts board of directors. The holding pond is on our property. So most of the summer I saw Joe.
One of our electrical bosses and another in the main office were bobs, but both last names are escaping me . I think the one you are referring to was dark hair turning grey. The other was a smallish guy with blond hair.Oh, I almost forgot my neighbor in Eaglerock also worked for Alcoa. He was in management. I forget his last name. First name Bob.

I've been there a few times. Is he still doing the deal with horses for kids? His dads place...…….
Cool. I'm building a cabin on some acreage right near that snow park.My buddy has a cabin about 10 miles north of town near a snow park , supposed to go up in the next week or two if it works out.
I am also in Olympia. Live across the street from the black lake boat launch and also do the Columbia river..I also own a couple business's here in town. One that caters to the RV and boating crowd ( Northwest Coach) and another that caters to the custom projects crowd ( Toy Factory Fabrication ). I used to love it here but the politics and catering to the drug zombies has me looking to head south in a few years..
I live just outside Spokane on the WA/ID border.
"The Rock" restaurants are not your run of the mill pizza are tavern type places. Lots of money spent on decor and great food, based around a wood fired oven. Great food and great service at the couple I have been to. The location in Bothell is near me and has an industrial almost mining theme to it. Again, the food and staff are great, try them out if you have the chance.Never herd of that restaurant.... But next drive to central WA, I'll give the Bothell location a try.
Now is prob the time to reserve one, huh? Lol.I live in Coeur D Alene, Idaho and love it here. I am also a Realtor here so if anyone is interested in our Real Estate Market here feel free to give me a call

I live in Lynnwood as well, any chance you are the guy with the "RDSUX" sticker on the chevy truck? I keep getting off the freeway behind it. Small world. I have a jet boat that I am on the Snohomish in just about every weekend from May-Sep not sure what size boat you have but if it's not huge you should come out some time if you haven't already 15-20 boats every Sat-Sunday lately. Another huge performance boat deal up here is Skagen Boats end of summer bash at the Potholes the weekend after laborday. It caters to the smaller boats too but more and more big boats show up every year last year had a bunch, probably 200 plus V-drive/jets and 20 plus larger prop boats, maybe more.Without further mucking up Hulas thread, who all lives up here and where ? This seems to be my view most of the season this year, note that this was a good day I didn’t have to chain. LOL
I used to run Highway 58 every week until OSP started enforcing the chain law and sat at the top waiting for you to drive by and write you a ticket if they didn’t hear chains clinking away. At least they got it opened back up after the last big storm. LOLHWY 58 in Oregon yesterday. Luckily I was in the Hellcat, it does great on shit roads..... Winter needs to leave! It's hard to express the atmosphere of the Skagen Mardon event in pics but these give you an idea. They do a pig roast Friday night and have a live band Saturday night. It just keeps growing.I haven't herd of the potholes thing. Knew of Skagen boats from when I had a jet boat. The stretch of Columbia in Wenatchee is perfect for jets and V-drives, its always flat water...…….. During Apple Blossom would be a good meet time frame. Too bad the hotels there book up then on weekends.

That's the one, I just saw it a few weeks ago but gave been behind you several times since. I am on 188th up from the Harley dealer. If the truck you're referring to is a stock '01 burgundy red chevy, odds are it's me. I live off 164th in Lynnhood - hang out in Crescent Bar in the summer.
I can't believe the weather, its been awhile since we've had snow in March here. Yesterday, it hit 50, so hope it gets warmer now.
