Without further mucking up Hulas thread, who all lives up here and where ? I know where some are and have a good idea of others , but no clue of many. For what it's worth I live in the Wenatchee valley area in Washington.

Born and raised in north bend/coosbay oregon (with the exception of a few years in springfield, Illinois as that's where both of my parents and family are from and still have alot of family there). Moved to the valley, salem or, in 98.

We try and make it to Spokane at least once a summer to visit friends and family cause the ol lady is from there. Her mom lived in Wenatchee until she passed away a couple years ago.

Buck 35, have you been to the Gorge amphitheatre ? Thinking that would be a good addition to my bucket list.

Yes and it's an awesome venue albeit a bit of a trek unless you stay in one of the the nearby campgrounds.

Pass through there on the way to Revi!

You mean Revelstoke? Must be a skier or snow mobiler to find the best slopes/snow;)

Took this shot of our lake [ Skaha ] a few days ago. At the left, lake has iced up past the narrow part to OK Falls, South.

I live in Aldergrove BC. But my business has property near @buck35. We are selling a few parcels of land up there. So I'm up in central WA a few times per month. But with the snow, so far I have not gone up this month. Crescent Bar is nice, boated out of there about 10 years ago.

Guys from Coeur D Alene, always wanted to visit your town, especially the times when the wooden boats show is on. Do you have recommendation where to stay if i drag my travel trailer down there? Or hotel/motel to stay if driving instead, thanks.

I'd stay at Blackwell Island RV Park. Right on the water and seems to be a nice RV park. Haven't stayed there personally, but looks good.
If you're going the hotel route I recommend the CDA resort.
Wood boat show is always a good time to check out the old cruisers. It's usually in August.

Thanks, I'll check online what Blackwell's size limitation is for trailers.

Ps; Just checked, looks good.
Blackwell Island RV Park is located ON THE WATER with full hookups and drive-thru convenience. Sit on the beach or take a dip in the water, or catch bass from our dock. Large rigs are no problem, with our typical pad being 60 feet long and 40 feet wide.

Can't recommend where to stay, but we went to the wood boat deal last year. FKN INCREDIBLE!

I live in Scottsdale but my wife’s family lives in CDA on the river. They got tired of the snow and now winter in Scottsdale and we visit them in CDA during the summer. Beautiful place that I love to visit but could never live there because of the winters. My AZ blood is to thin and I would freeze.

That looks like an awesome little island. Any flooding issues? That's on the Columbia River right? How much of the river is navigable?
There are only a few shallow areas in this section of the river ,some right below rock island dam , and a sand bar out in front of Sunland that will get your attention in a hurry. It's an absolutely beautiful stretch of water, roughly 40 miles dam to dam, but can go from glass to 4 footers if the wind gets going. Definitely worth a trip to anyone that's never been.
DS the water level and is controlled by the local pud's and while the it can drop a lot at times I don't believe flooding is ever a concern.

Lots of history on the Columbia. I really want to spend some time getting lost up there one day.

Beautiful. If anyone took a wake boat out on that they should be shot on principle.

Finally leaving SoCal for good this summer, moving back home to Skamania County in SW Washington. We boat on the lower Columbia, Merwin, Yale and Swift Creek Reservoirs. You’ll all know when I find the rest of DB Cooper’s loot when my new float pops up in the from the mold section.

If you come up 97 via Quincy you go right past my driveway.

I passed your driveway many times about ten years ago. We leased an orchard just outside Quincy and I drove the fruit on our flat bed truck to Blue Bird in Wenatchee.

We're in Vancouver, WA...Boat the Columbia from Portland to Boardman all summer long. We run the Portland poker run and this year we're booked for Chelan - looking forward to checking that out! We also hit some of the local lakes fromm time to time - Merwin, Yale and lake Billy. I have DS, Powell and Kelwona runs on my list to hit one of these years. We need a PNW Regatta!!!
