P-550 Shake Down - Irvine Lake

Met up with Andrew Games and the rest of the P550 crew at Irvine Lake this afternoon to test the new boat. Have only put in a few laps so far but the boat looks good.

Will you be doing any more testing tomorrow at Irvine? I'd love to check the boat out sometime, I don't live very far from there!

Wednesdays are the only time to test at Irvine. I think next Wed I am loading the rig up and heading to Parker to test early Thursday morning, then load it back up and go race in Phoenix. The boat felt great for the first time out. Tons of speed and with a few minor adjustments, it will whip right around the corners. We couldn't be happier with the hard work, countless late nights and long weekends working on her

If you wana cruise over tomorrow to check the boat out at our shop in Compton/Gardena let me know. Just don't wear blue or red

I just looked through all my photos and didn't see any where the boat looked off while at speed in the straight or turning. There was the expected pitch while coming out of the hole and while slowing down but nothing out of the ordinary.

Not really a damn thing

Back in the 40's they had a fuel pump between their legs and would pump fuel
