Is the trailer new as well?

Replace the crappy bias ply or cheap shitty radial tires, that usually come on new boat trailers with good steel belted, 10-12 ply, "E" rated tires.

Do they offer that in 14" tires?
I run round and black ones that hold air. Bias, radial, whatever.

Orange just to be legal are junk.

A half a dozen ski vests in sizes that fit everyone is the key. (Med, lg, xlg, etc) Mines a 3x. A dock line, a ski line, and a set of double skis, and decent big boy single ski, full ice chest, and you're good to go.
Snacks optional.

Carried an anchor for 10 years, never used it. But I'm on the river.

Obviously safety stuff, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, burn creme, etc. (don't touch the headers)

Can you really blame the guy for not posting pics? I mean seriously how often do we really talk about boating here?

Hes probably going on a road trip and just said he got a new boat so he could stay incognito...

🤣

Ok jokes over post pics or else!!! 😁

I didn't see anyone mention it but Boat U.S. membership is a good thing to have on hand. Can't always rely on someone being around to give you a tow if needed.

My .02/personal setup

- Spankys dock/fender lines. The bigger 8x20” fenders are worth every penny. I prefer 15’ dock lines that stay attached to the fenders so everything is together and simple.

- Standard Slide Anchor and I think I have a medium Box Anchor. Might be a large idk. But get them with the storage bags.

- 100’ of anchor line and a Danik hook

- 50’ish line for towing(you, a buddy, or a tube)

- legal amount of life jackets and throwables. The costco vests are worth it, at least for your immediate family.

- orange flag and some way to hold it(think you and wife jump in to cool off).

- I’m tired of smelling vinegar or Hot Sauce at the ramp so please avoid it at all costs… Shine Supply’s products work better and smell great. Marine Kit linked below.

Thanks guys! We left town with out a picture. I know, we F**ked up.

For the towing service what is everyone in Havasu using? We are looking at sea tow and tow boat US.

Thanks for all of the responses. I am adding to the list. We ended up with a Laveycraft 24 Nuera.

For a box anchor what weight do you guys recommend?
Does any one have a link to a sand spike anchor with a T on the top (handle bars)? I have used one a few times and really liked it.

The next question is what cleaning products? Looking for a few products at the moment.
1) remove water spots
2) wax exterior
3) interior cleaner

I am familiar with detailing cars. Is the same wax typically used or a marine wax? Drop some knowledge on me!
I have the SMALL for my 24' Schiada V-hull.

I like all of the cleaning products from Shinesupply.com

From the slide anchor website:

Small Box Anchor: Offshore / Sport 18' to 30', cabin cruiser to 24'

Large Box Anchor: Offshore / Sport to 40', cabin cruiser to 32'

X-Large Box Anchor: House boats, cruisers longer than 32'
