Nice Dave:thumbsup, thats a great boat, too bad it wasn't a longer vid!
thanks for sharing!
I agree.. Would like to see some more video of the boat for sure! I'm thinking that big rocker switch on the steering wheel is a wireless trim switch deal? I know someone made one years ago and it didn't work well because there was a delay in the time it would trim from the time you pushed the switch. If there's a new one out, I'd be interested in finding out more about it.

RD,Any chance this 29 OL makes it to the LHC boat show? or DS? would love to see it in person, get some pics:thumbsup
btw, definitely looks like an up/down trim switch on the wheel..
Well I don't think he built this for the East Coasters.. Not knowing Mike Fiore from Adam, I would have to think he built this boat to cater to the lakes / rivers of the west coast? I believe it will be at the LHC boatshow, and DS.

If this boat really ran 100mph with a stock 600sci, that's fucking impressive! I'm sure the boat is bitchen in person!

I put a wireless trim on two of my boats several years ago. They aren't wireless, exactly, but there are no visible wires. It all routes through the hub and looks as good as any wireless device, works better, and was very reasonably priced.
The remote on the steering wheel is for the Raymarine E7 GPS unit that we chose to use in the boat. We have been able to get the boat to run over 100mph with a stock Mercury 600sci. This boat can be used on either coast, lakes or rivers as it runs great in both flat and rough water. We feel that it could be a great west coast boat! I believe the plan right now is to have the boat out at Havasu. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

We'll be happy to critique the shit out of it for you :thumbsup

You guys scratching the bottom of my new boat:grumble:

Yes it has a full cabin with two storage lockers, two small lounges, porti potti, and a very large vee berth. The way the boat in the video sits with the upgraded options and a trailer is $195,000.
Price seems a little on the highside for a single 29, but I guess it is an OL..
Can we get any pics of the engine bay and the berth area?

Anyone have an idea what the Merc 600 puts out hp wise at the crank?

They are always tweaked for the tests ...
The motor in this boat is 100% stock and sealed from Mercury.
I'm afraid you're wasting your keystrokes- this is InternetDave's Place.
Unless it's a DCB, Eliminator, or Schiada (the best boats in the solar system)...it's all junk.

I think it's a great looking boat and will be a good seller. I've got one of those other brands and can appreciate a quality design anytime.
Well, it's good to see at least one DCB owner doesn't do all his boating on the river of de-Nile...lol.
A 29' V-bottom that is faster than a cat, has a cabin, and can take some abuse in the ocean is a game changer, IMO. Hope the other guys try to keep up.

Wait til they slap an outboard on it and watch the masses go crazy!:thumbsup
X2. And none of the other Mfg's have put out a 28-30' v hull that can do 100 mph on 600hp. If this Boat truly performs like they're saying, all other comparable sized, stepped, V-hull boats just became glorified wake board boats
Mine included :grumble:

I'm willing to bet that motor probably makes closer to 700hp if not more. Either way it's a very impressive boat.
